These make a nice and healthy way to prepare green beans. I used butter in place of the margarine and did sprinkle lightly with salt before serving. I like the addition of the almonds but think I would leave off the bread crumbs next time around. The bread crumbs were my Seasoned Breadcrumb Mix.

Very Tasty Green Beans, I used frozen french cut cut beans, and didn't bother toast the almonds. Thank You Carla Cayen-

So easy and so good, Thanks Carla for a recipe I used at our Thanksgiving table, just that little something special to serve on a holiday. I did use frozen green beans, but they where good and don't think I missed anything in the final outcome. Everyone at the table enjoyed these, I'll certainly be making them again.

Terrific! I thought these were wonderful! I used fresh beans and half a fresh chopped onion. Also, I used water in place of broth (I added some salt and a few herbs to try to make up for it...) I skipped the breadcrumbs like another reviewer suggested and didn't think it lacked anything. This was really easy and it went together so fast. I think I have finally found a recipe that makes me like fresh green beans.
