This is outstanding!! This was the first recipe I made using my new ice cream maker. This is the ONLY way I'll eat strawberry ice cream....freshly homemade! It had a wonderful creamy texture! (and I did use the egg) Easy easy easy!!

Awesome! I added a banana and sweetened it with 1/4 c. maple syrup and 1/4 c. brown rice syrup (I use white sugar as little as possible) and I did use the egg. My husband loved it!

Fantastic recipe. The only thing to improve it is to let the strawberries sit overnight with the sugar and get all syrupy. Very extra strawberry flavor.

This is a wonderful ice cream recipe. I used real egg and used all heavy cream instead of half and half. Ultra rich and super creamy. Super easy. This is the only strawberry ice cream recipe i will use from now on.

Oh this was just divine! My strawberries weren't as tasty as they could have been, so I added some strawberry jam I had lying around, and decreased the amount of sugar to taste. DH scarfed this up, saying it was better than the local home made icecream parlours icecream! I also used the eggs. Thanks for this wonderful icecream!

Terrific! I whipped this up this afternoon and it just finished processing. This had a wonderful texture and I did decide to include the egg. I added a bit more strawberry, probably 1.5 cups pureed and 1/2 to 3/4 cups sliced strawberries for texture. Thanks for posting!!

This was fantastic! It wins rave reviews from all of our neighborhood kids. We were looking for recipes for our bumper crop of strawberries, and this fit the bill. I used egg beaters, and didn't notice any difference! Thanks for the yummy ice cream recipe!

Loved it!! This was my first time making homemade ice cream. I doubled the recipe and used blackberries instead of strawberries....couln't have turned out better. My husband went nuts over it!

I made this recipe with the addition of 1 tbs of real vanilla extract and it was wonderful. Everyone loved it. I used the basic recipe last night for a banana walnut ice cream and it was equally fantastic. I shall use Dee's recipe from now on either for strawberry ice cream but also as a base for any other flavor I make. Thanks Dee for sharing.

Really good! I added a little lemon juice and Amaretto. I also used nonfat milk instead of the creams and three fourths of the sugar. Nice flavor!
