Yum! So easy to make and very good! I did make it a little different than directed. I made it in a skillet instead of the oven so that my starving hubby could eat a little sooner-it took about 10 minutes that way!(= Thanks for posting, Bekah! I'll definitely be making this one again!

This was delicious! I didn't have any savory so I just added more thyme. I fried my own bacon slices to make bacon bits which I believe really enhanced the taste and texture. The only thing I'll do differently next time is use smaller chicken breasts or pound out large ones. The chicken I used was too thick and the taste didn't quite carry through the whole piece. A definite "make again" recipe, however.

Bekah, I just loved this! So easy — and how can you wrong with bacon and cheese? Since we are doing the low-carb thing, I did use ground pecans instead of flour, and it worked well. I love the ease of this, and it was definitely kid-friendly, too. Thanks for posting!

I'm so glad I chose this for Pick A Chef Nov '04 — it's WONDERFUL & easy. I increased amounts for 6 chicken breasts, and the only change I made was to add some fresh-grated parmesan to the breadcrumb mixture & using real cooked bacon chopped up. I had to bake a little longer — 40 min — before my chicken was done, but the breasts were pretty thick. The chicken stayed very moist, & it was melt-in-your-mouth good.

So good and so easy! Everyone loved it! Next time I'll pound the breasts first, but that's just my preference. The recipe as is was very good, and the chicken was moist throughout. Thanks, Bekah, I'll make this often!

This was wonderful. My husband usually hates chicken breasts because they can be on the dry side, but he raved about this dish...of course, what's not to like? Cheese and bacon are one of life's guilty pleasures! Terrific recipe, Bekah!
