Mean, I don't give many 5s but we just finished our dinner of Tequila Lime Chicken and it was absolutely wonderful. I was so excited when I found this recipe that when I got home last night at 8pm I but everything together and put it in the frig. It stayed there until 4pm the next day. This is much more than a 5 star. Thanks so much.

I marinated the chicken all night and followed the recipe except for the jalapeno peppers (I didn't have any). My family and I weren't crazy about this meal. We didn't care for the taste. It was very acidic. I don't know if it was my limes or what. I like all the ingredients - that wasn't the problem.

Hi Kirstin in the 'Couv, three friends and I made this last night. They love spicy food and I can't handle it but when I tasted this, I got the zantac & enjoyed myself thoroughly. We had it with basmati almond & mushroom rice, a nice green salad, & cheddar biscuits. The chicken was moist and tangy! It was delicious! One husband was very disappointed because there was none left over for his lunch. Thank you for posting, Diane

Wonderful flavour. I halved the recipe and used only two chicken breasts - I wasn't quite sure what to expect with chicken sitting in lime and tequila for 30 hours, but it was delish, not overpowering at all. A definite keeper - thanks Mean.

The gold tequila almost broke the bank, but it was worth it! The taste was so heavenly that I just kept wishing it was a little stronger. I'll definitely let the chicken marinate longer than 8 hours next time so the flavors can max out. The only thing I might change is adding a little more jalapeno, but that's just personal taste. Terrific recipe, Mean Chef!

As expected, another 5 star recipe from MEAN CHEF. I used all ingredients as instructed, but halved the recipe. However, I only was able to marinate the chicken for about 4 hours. It was still wonderful - tender, juicy and had a great mix of flavours. Thanks MEAN CHEF.

wow! i have to say this was a great recipe! i loved the lime flavor in the chicken..it gave it a slight kick at the end of every bite and really put my tastebuds into gear! I would, for personal preference, probably add more jalepeno next time, but an absolutely fantastic recipe! i loved the smell as well as the taste! Thanks mean chef!

I used a whole fryer, cut up, marinated over night, and grilled with mesquite--it was fantastic! This went straight to my cookbook. Thanks for posting.

The chicken was good, however, the tequila was a little overpowering. Also, I broiled it in the oven, too cold to grill this time of the year. I will definitely try it again with less tequila and on a hot outdoor grill. I used this recipe to make Chicken Enchiladas #98382 which was great, the filling (sour cream, cheese, scallions) cut back on the tequila taste. Thank you for the posting.

This chicken recipe is excellent! We grilled them over charcoal, and it was WONDERFUL!
