I also tend to be a "from scratch" person, but I was low on ingredients, and wanted something dessert-like, and since I had the bisquick thought I'd try it. These came out so much better than I had expected. I did add an extra tablespoon of sugar since I have a bit of a sweet tooth, and I also added 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. I used chunky peach jam in the middle. I also recommend the lower baking time — at 10 minutes mine even started to burn a bit. But they were still so good, they're still getting the 5-star rating they deserve. That's why, although I am a "from scratch" person, I will try something on occasion like this that catches my eye. You never know when you'll be this pleasantly surprised. In fact I think I'm going to stop typing and go have another one!

I used this recipe this morning and my family LOVED it! Great Job Katrina! The only thing I did differently was cut down the cooking time to approximately 8 minutes-- at 10 minutes my first batch had burnt bottoms. Will definately do again!

I whipped this together on a Sunday morning after we'd had an unexpected houseguest the night before. They were in the oven in 5 minutes. The dough is pretty sticky and I was worried the preserves would run out of the wells, but they turned out perfect, though I would reduce the oven to 425* next time, as the first batch was perfect in exactly 10 min but the 2nd batch was a bit too brown. I used reduced-fat Bisquick, and peach preserves. I was out of vanilla so used 1/4 tsp almond extract in the glaze - yum. I'll definitely make these again.

Three thumbs up! My dh, his mother and I all agreed that this was a wonderful recipe. I used low-fat bisquick and Splenda due to dietary restrictions in the family. They tasted wonderful. It was difficult to wait until they had cooled enough to eat them. Thanks so much. A nice treat for my family and an easy breakfast treat when I have guests.

I make these all the time. My favorite jam to use is cherry. The glaze is perfect although I have also used microwaved canned frosting before to drizzle over the tops which turned out really tasty! (the chocolate one is really good with cherry jam)

I made these this morning with different kinds of jelly and even some drained crushed pineapple and they came out wonderful. I impressed everybody.

I thought these turned out quite well. I usually like to make things from scratch, but the Bisquick was the easy way for the morning. I didn't change a thing with the recipe. However, it only took 10 minutes @450 until they were done in my oven. Hubby ate 3 in one sitting. Thanx for a tasty recipe that's easy!

Very easy and very delicious! Our favorite was the seedless boysenberry, with strawberry a close second!
