I used this recipe as a stepping stone to a killer twice baked potato. I always love the shell of the potato sinch I never use foil to bake. The spices really gave another level of flavor to it. I used Tony Cacher's

Loved the seasoning! But they didn't get crunchy. I think I used too much oil, so if you try this, stick with Janice's recommendation of three or four drops.

I served these with marinated sirloins for our Christmas dinner. We all loved this style of baked potatoes. The outsides were crisp and the insides so fluffy. Since I was doing so many, I mixed the spices for all of them in a large ziplock bag & shook the potatoes a few at a time. They were well covered in spices & so good. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

Very good, loved the crusty skin also. I used Cajun Seasoning and they came out great! Easy way to do baked potatoes.

Loved the crusty skin. Did not have enough potatoes for all to have one whole potato so I cut it in half and followed your instructions. Baked it with cut side down. It turned out great and already have had requests to make more next time. It was so easy to make. Served it with baked chicken and both were done at the same time. Will try other spices next time. Thanks.

Like baked potatoes, only yummier! Like seasoned fries, only healthier! Soooo easy, and the kids loved them.

Good baked potato recipe. I only had one problem and that was probably my fault. The bottom of the potato was burnt when I got it out. I had put the potatoes on a greased baking sheet. Maybe that is why it burnt LOL But it was a great recipe!!I know I will use this again in the future. Thanks for posting it.

Oh, this is SOOOO good. Really crisps the skin and the inside is soft and yummy! Loved the spice additions, too.
