Fantastic way to have your pudding and diet too. Great chocolate ice cream substitute when made with fat free topping. The calorie count is half that of ice cream and the fat content is, of course, nonexistent. The texture is icy when totally frozen, but that tends to slow the eating down, which is always a good thing. You can always microwave a serving for 30 seconds to thaw it a bit.

Wow Karen, this was really tasty for being fat free! I used fat free cool whip. I put some in the freezer but I didn't care for the icy texture, I stuck it back in the fridge to thaw and it went back to it's original creamy state lol..it really satisfies the dessert cravings. Thanks K!

I LOVE pistachio! To make it even less calories, I use 1 cup of water and 1 cup milk, instead of 2 cups milk. I figured that skim milk is basically like water, at least the kind I use..lol..so I gave it a try and it worked just as well, even in the regular pudding form (didn't set as perfectly, but did set nonetheless) So that means only 250 calories for the whole recipe! Thanks so much Karen...sososoososo much! hahha.

Another Monahan 5* Winner! Very simple little recipe to put together and have for dessert after supper...I used the ingredients you listed...Came out so chocolaty, creamy, and, best of all, sweet! I love chocolate, but, I bet you could use any flavor pudding and it would still be yummie... Thanks so much, Karen...We really enjoyed, and, I'll be making this often. Laudee

Really creamy! I don't like it totally frozen; just really cold is better for me as the ice crystals sort of detract. But very easy. And great that I generally have the ingredients. Thanks!

This is a great subsitute for ice cream. It was quick and easy to make. I am the only one eating it so I just threw them in the microwave to defrost a little bit to eat them. Thanks Karen.

This was delicious! I am trying to be more health-conscious with my food choices, and this recipe helps me quench my chocolate/ice cream/dessert cravings. DH and DD love it as well, we've made it three times already. Thank you so much!

We have made this several times, but never thought to freeze it. I like the idea! What a cool treat for these hot summer days!

This was exactly what my pregnant sweet tooth was craving!! I love that I normally have the ingredients in the house and it's so quick and easy to make. Loved it and I'm sure we will be making this alot and maybe trying some different pudding flavors! Thanks for sharing!!

Wow! Loved it! I was too hungry to wait to freeze it, sliced fresh strawberries and put in it, it was heaven for a wieght watcher. Brandy took stawberries and used it for a dip and loved it also. Thanx sooo much for a great desert.
