I keep trying every variation of this recipe I find. LOVE your rendition. Slicing the garlic gives it a different taste than mincing or crushing. Instructions were clear and easy to follow and worked perfectly.

I don't have to make this to know...I make it often and its one of my mom's standbys. I usually cook it on 400 and half way through I add a thickly sliced onion. Sometimes I add some seasoning like oregano and rosemary and eat it as a meal itself with some thick slices of feta cheese. Just to give you some other variations. Its a very versitile dish.

So easy to make and they have great flavor. I used baby red potatoes instead of chopping bigger ones. I love the garlic too! Who in their right mind would take it out? :o)

Wow! I mean Wow! DH kept asking what is the wonderful smell. I cut the recipe in half because there is only two of us. So there's leftovers for DH's lunch at work. Made as posted and we kept the garlic in and enjoyed it.
Thanks for posting.

Wonderful! I am new to recipe zaar because I lacked utter satisfaction with anything I ate and this was one of the first I tried. I left mine uncovered and only cooked it about 30-35 minutes. Also I added rosemary along with the salt and pepper.

MMMMMM Gotta love that garlic. We cooked these in foil packets placed in a pan over a propane stove since the rain cancelled the cookout over the open fire at a recent camping trip.

Very delicious. Served this evening with pan fried pork chops and garden peas. The missus thought it was great except for the "slight garlic aroma" from the kitchen. This is a keeper and will be making this again and again. Thanks Kim127. GemBob

Delicious potatoes, a garlic lovers delight. I cut the recipe in half and roasted them on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. The were done in 35 minutes (maybe because there were fewer potatoes in the pan?). Made for Recipe Swap #15

Wonderful flavor! I prepared them in the microwave on high for 10 minutes. Turned out perfect. Great side dish! Quick and easy! Prepared as a participant in the 2008 Aus/NZ Swap #22.
