I had this for lunch with my kids and they gobbled it up, as a matter of fact, my son ate more than I did, and when it was gone, he still wanted more. (we are HUGE pasta fanatics!) I served it with parmesan cheese to sprinkle on top. I will be making this again.

You are right, this is a very simple recipe. I couldn't stop myself from having seconds. I followed the recipe exactly and added salt and pepper as stated.

Love this stuff. The only thing that takes it over the top, in my opinion, is to brown some bread crumbs in some additional butter and toss with the noodles. Very simple, but big flavor. Thank you for posting.

So simple and so very good. I like to use a egg noodle our local HEB grocery store carries called AMISH EGG NOODLES. They taste so close to home made. I cook them in boxed chicken stock and then add the browned butter with some garlic salt and onion salt. Divine.

This is great! I've used just melted butter in the past. Browning the butter really adds flavor. I've made it twice--once adding alittle sprinke of garlic powder & some grated parmesan cheese! YUM!!

Who would have thought that such a simple addition could make such a huge difference in the flavor and elevate the lowly buttered noodle to near gourmet status? :o) I went to get the egg noodles and discovered I was out, so had to make a last-minute substitution of tri-colored rotini, but this worked equally well with the other pasta. In fact, the ridges on the noodles captured more of the yummy butter sauce. Thanks so much for posting!

These are wonderful. Very exciting to find an easy recipe which takes almost no time at all, that tastes so good. My husband put parm on his, and loved it. Thanks!

Just Shocking how good this was! Added a little shredded parm, but it was the browned butter that made it! Just great!

Loved this easy side dish recepe, DD asked me why I had to put stuff on the noodles as she watched, then ate most of them, LOL. One recomendation, noodles get cool quickly, so make these up while the meat rests, they come together quickly and easily.

This simple dish is always a crowd pleaser. I used low carb noodles so that I could enjoy it to and boy am I glad I did. We like lots of pepper in ours. This would be a great dish for a new cook to try!!
