I have made this jam for years. It is a family favorite. My niece asked me to teach her to can just so she could make this! If you don't have fresh lime, use bottled and don't worry about the zest. It's a never-fail recipe. Have fun!

I love this recipe, but I did change it up a bit to use less sugar. I basically merged the recipe with the recipe in the "Ball Fruit Jell No Sugar Needed Pectin" box. I used 5 cups of mushed blueberries, 1 TBS lime zest, 2 TBS lime juice, 3 TBS more lime juice plus enough apple juice concentrate (the frozen kind, thawed) to make 1 cup liquid, 1 package of No Sugar Needed Pectin, 1/3 cup maple syrup, 1/3 cup white sugar. I cooked the jam and processed it according to the directions in the pectin box. I haven't opened a jar so I can't vouch for the texture yet, but I licked the spoon after I had my jars filled and the mixture is delicious!

I loved the contrast in flavors of the blueberry and lime- what a great kick!! Jazzed up that peanut butter!
Wonderful on scones as well
The kids loved it on waffles with whip cream.
Thank you for the recipe!

Great recipe! I have never put lime juice in my blueberry jams but this really added a bit of a kick! Thanks for sharing! It will be the one I use from now on!

This is a wonderful, easy, fresh tasting jam. The lime zest/juice really perkes up the flavor.

I really like the little bite that the lime adds to the blueberries. Not all of my family loves it as much as I do, but that just means there is more for me!

I made this jam last summer and can't believe I forgot to do a review. I just opened my last jar of this wonderful jam. The lime juice gives it a wonderful flavor. It is good on pancakes, waffles or on toast. A must try recipe. I made one recipe using frozen berries and one with fresh. Both were great.

OMG, This is ssoooooooo good! Even my sister loves it, and she doesn't like blueberries! I made this last October using frozen blueberries, and it still turned out terrific. It sure beats those expensive store brands in flavor and cost! Plus, it's firmer and you can really taste the lime zest... I got around 8-9 jars (1/2-pints), and we just finished the last one this morning. I'll have to make more of this, my family demands it!
