I only used 1/2 cup brown sugar,as you know I don't like things sweet- LOL, I used 12 jumbo liners in my muffin pan and baked for 20 minutes. I thought 425° would be too hot but they were great. I love the pineapple flavor and so does DH. Thanks for a tasty recipe.

Very fine-textured, moist and light-love it! Batter is definitely thick. Excellent flavour. However, I found the oven temperature to be too hot. I started at 425F., but I had to turn it down because they started to scorch a little on top. I went to 400F. and then to 375F. They were done in 20-25 minutes. I will try 375F. next time. You must have one honkin big muffin pan to only get 6! - I got 12 good-sized muffins! Thanks for this recipe, I will definitely make them again.

Was disappointed as the ingredients looked very good. Little flavor, and the texture was not what I expected from sour cream muffins, barely mixed in the liquids, but still not smooth, almost coarse. Sorry, but probably won't make again.

This just got removed from my recipes for being a duplicate. I'm taking this chance to give a reciprocal review, and reviewing "my own" recipe. lol This is a sweet, moist and very delicious muffin. It's one of my absolute favorites, and I'm a muffin addict. It's wonderful warm, oooozing with butter, with a nice fruit salad for breakfast.

This recipe produced very moist muffins that were easy to prepare. I did the initial prep work last night by combining the flour mixture and egg mixture separately, refrigerating the egg mix. This morning all I had to do was combine the two, fill the muffin tins and pop in the oven. The only complaint I received was that the muffins didn't have a strong pineapple flavor. I might try upping the amount of pineapple that I use next time I make these. Thanks for sharing!

Great!!!!! The muffins had a nice white colour to them. It tasted to me like hawian pizza without the ham(idea for next time!) I also made the mixtures the night before and just added them the next morning and baked them. Anyway I was very glad with my decision to make these!
