33 Reviews of Hidden Valley Ranch Oyster Crackers

From: Canadian Cookie

On Nov 25, 2007

I've been looking for this recipe for 8 years... I love this stuff! Makes such a nice gift for giving during the holidays when placed in Christmas tins. I used a 20oz bag of Premium Plus Oyster Crackers and only 1/2 cup of oil (by accident). Baked at 325' for 15 minutes and they turned out perfect! Thanks!!!!

These are great. I make them all the time. I don't even bake them...just stir, stir, stir 'til there's no oil left in the bowl, and then try to stay out of them!

I would love to give these all 5 stars, but I can't imagine them if you used that much oil! I used 1/3 of a cup with 12 ounces of crackers, and it was just right for me. I also didn't use the lemon pepper, as I didn't have any. They were good, good, good! Such a great economical alternative to name brand ranchy snacks. I think I might try it with goldfish crackers too. I will make it over and over again!

These were tasty and some thought they tasted like garlic bread. I went on the light end with the oil and baked in a 250°F oven for about 30 min, stirring 1-2 times. Great munchie for a group gathering.

Wow wow wow! I can't believe what a powerful flavor comes from a few simple ingredients! My cooking method is 200 degree oven, for 20 min., stirring every 5 min.

My mom made these all the time when I was growing up, and continues to make them now that I'm grown! I don't believe her recipe includes lemon pepper, but it sounds like a yummy addition!

These are addictive!! If I'm making them for guests I have to hide them from my family or there will be none left to share (lol). I use only 1/3 cup oil when I make these and I bake them at 250F. Thanks for putting the recipe at my fingertips.

My aunt made this at all her holiday parties and would never share the recipe. I tried it for my X-mas party and it was dead on. I didn't put them in the oven b/c they already tasted great. Thanks!!

I made this recipe using regular saltines and they turned out perfectly delicious. I did cut the oil in half and I used a whole box of crackers. I made these to go with Crock Pot Artichoke Dip Crock Pot Artichoke Dip. It was superb! Thank you Tickeledpink for sharing this.
