MY GOD!!!!!!! This is unbelievable, this is yummy, so nice and chocolatey and so tasty, so filling, and yet not all that high in calories! WOW! This is one instant favourite now of mine. To be honest, I was in two minds whether to try this or not, but I am so so happy I did - this is YUM! This is one recipe where you cannot expect what you'll get
!
THANK U for posting!!! I wish this recipe gets 500 stars and many more! I want to just stress that putting all the ingredients in a blender and making a puree, is how I have made it and I think it is a 1000 times more tasty and also more appetising this way than just mixing up everything.

I eat this daily now with different variations. I no longer puree it as I like the taste and texture better without doing that. I add a tsp (heaping) of peanut butter to get a kind of "Reeces" taste sometimes. Today I mashed a 2" piece of banana with a heaping tsp of peanut butter, 1 tsp of cocoa and 1 tsp of Splenda, mixed it all well and then added 1/2 cup of cottage cheese. YUMMY!!!!

you need alot of mental strength to down this one. it DOES slightly taste like choc chz cake, but after awhile you really need to convince urself to take another bite. i followed the recipe as is, but felt it needed, (and so I added) lots more choc, and some more splenda. for some reason the cottage chz i used (breakstones lowfat cottage chz) made this pudding taste a bit salty. and if it wasn't salty, this would be a keeper. but this was interesting to try. imagine chocolate cottage chz!!

ha ha I've been making this recipe for quite some time and I get the same reactions: WHAT ARE YOU EATING?!?! but boy does it taste good! I use splenda for the sugar, or I use diet hot chocolate mix powder (yum). Thanks for having the guts to post the recipe with the photo!

Yum! A quick and easy cheesecake type snack. I didn't puree the cottage cheese, which made my mom look at me with a weird look on her face asking me what I was eating! I didn't mind the texture this way, but looks wise I would puree it next time.
This is also a good recipe to have as a break from yogurt. I ate it with strawberries and banana chunks - banana goes especially well.
UPDATE: I tried this purreed, ok now it is definitely worth 5 stars!! I am also looking forward to experimenting with the PB as suggested by another reviewer!

Curiously delicious. I just tried this, and while I can't quite pinpoint what prompted me to do so (aside from sheer boredom and a lonely tub of cottage cheese that was doomed to expire) it is safe to say that it will probably become my new midnight snacking obsession. I used Bellagio hot cocoa blend to add some zang to the zing of regular cocoa powder, but I'm sure normal is ALMOST as tasty. Ha. Also used a bit more than a teaspoon or two, more like a tablespoon. It's so good. Swapped a Splenda packet for the sugar. On my second serving, I added a spoonful of nonfat cream cheese which was just perfect! Filled out all those watery gaps and gave it a fuller, creamier consistency.. as one might expect from such an ingredient. Oh, yeah, you read that right.. I even went back for seconds. A second serving of... cottage cheese, with cocoa and sweetener? That's nuts!

Thank you for this recipe!! I was tired of my same old cottage cheese and boy am I glad I found this. I use breakstone's fat free cottage cheese, splenda and cocoa (I think I might try carob next). I am with CharishmaRamchandani about being skeptical, but I think I share the same enthusiaism as her! Again, thank you for this... I will definetly be making this over and over.

Delicious. I have been eating cottage cheese daily for years, and I also incorporate 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder into my daily meal plan somewhere (mostly into my protein shakes), but I never thought to put cottage cheese and cocoa together. Thank you so much for this great idea; I have this as my before bedtime snack every night with fruit, cinnamon, and granola. Absolutely wonderful. Thanks for the great idea.

I think I would rather just stick with the straight cottage cheese. I didn't even finish this recipe.

I am sorry but the taste did not appeal to me at all. I do like cottage cheese and sweets but not this blend. I'll stick to cottage cheese in one bowl and fat free chocolate pudding in another to get my sweet tooth craving.
