Well, considering this has almost no fat and still tasted decadent, I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. I cooked mine in one large dish rather than the custard cups and it came out just fine that way. I was worried that there wouldn't be enough topping - next time I might add double the amount as I prefer more - but then it wouldn't be as lowfat, which is kind of defeating the purpose. If you are looking for a tasty, yet lowfat treat that is easy to prepare, this is a great choice. Very tasty, thanks!

We LOVED it! Apple crumble is our favourite dessert! I used Granny Smith apples and frozen blueberries and they were a nice addition to it. I made it in a large baking dish instead of small ramekins and we being 'crumble' lovers, I doubled the topping amount and added in a tad bit more of sugar and a small amount of chopped almonds. I had mine with vanilla ice cream and DH had his with lashings of custard! Thank you, Kim127, for sharing this wonderful recipe!

This was okay for me. I didn't love it, but I definitley didn't hate it. For being so low in fat, it gets extra points but it's not the type of crisp I remember from Grandma's house. A bit on the dry side. Maybe just a touch more margarine or butter on top. Thank you for sharing.

Loved the blueberries and apples together. I did use frozen blueberries, granny smith apples, and put this in a baking dish instead of the custard cups. Couldnt wait for it to cool down...smelled wonderful. Thank you Kim and congrats again on winning the football pool, week 3!

Absolutely scrumptious! Had I been making this just for myself, I would have made it as written to keep it low-fat, but since it was for the whole family, I doubled the amount of topping. I not feel I should lessen the rating because of this change because it was simply a personal preference! I also had a mental moment and added way too much butter as I was doubling the ingredients but it came out fine - just a little more indulgent! I had planned to have my DH take this to our neighbor's tomorrow to add to the Superbowl Spread, but DH has discovered it and it's definitely not going to make it to tomorrow!

Loved the combination of blueberries and apples - two of my favorite fruits. Like others I used Granny Smiths and felt the crispy tart paired well with the soft sweetness of my frozen berries. In lieu of the cinnamon and nutmeg, used an equivalent amount of Baking Spice Blend Mix. My crumble did not clump into bits as expected and not sure what happened. Instead it was rather dry and powdery with little bits of oats. Not to worry we enjoyed every bite with a small scoop of nonfat vanilla yogurt. Thanks Kim.

My mom and little brother said 5 stars right away; as for me, I just finished licking out my bowl! Served with vegan banana-vanilla ice cream for an easy, light Saturday night treat. Thanks!

Very yummy! I used Granny Smith apples and blueberries......as well as blackberries (I thought I had more blueberries in the freezer). What a nice combination!! I too needed a bit of sugar and am a topping lover so will double the topping next time. Loved the cinnamon - nutmeg flavors in the topping!! (Update - DD was so upset when this was gone - and I realized I was too. Who would have thought that apples and blueberries would be such a nice combo. I'm changing this to 5 stars and teaching my 12 year old how to make this
Thanks again Kim127.

This was a very tasty dessert, but the flavour would be improved with the addition of a little sugar to the apples and berries. Easy to make. Looks great! An added bonus that it is fairly low fat. Only 22% of the calories are from fat! I would make this again.

This was very good. I added 2 tablespoons of sugar to the fruit, doubled the topping and added 2 extra tablespoons of butter. It was delicious!
