These are REALLY FABULOUS!!! The flavors really ROCK and the garbanzos are a greattttttttt substitute for the meat in tacos!!!! I love the addition of cumin, because it is one of my most favorite spices!! And the coriander was also a very nice addition
I topped these bad boys with vegan cheese (non-dairy), some hot salsa, and shredded lettuce and a small amount of tomato!!!

I made this for the first time today and it was really good. The beans themselves didn't stay in the taco shell, so I blended a few of them with some taco sauce and stirred that into the beans, and it worked perfectly. I will be making this over and over again.

this is so good. we have made it twice now and none has been left over yet. we omited the jalapeno because it is just about as spicy as i can stand without it. we didn't have any coriander so we put a tiny dash of cinnamon in instead. over all this is one of my new favorite recipes. thanks kosmic blues!

This was great.. added Prawns for my wife using the spices, oil and lemon juice. I used red kidney beans rather than garbanzo beans. We both loved it!

This has been in one of my cookbooks since I first joined Recipezaar and I'm glad I finally made it. I sauteed the vegetables for about 5 minutes, wrapped the filling in flour tortillas instead of tacos and topped it with tomatoes, cilantro, scallions, regular cheddar cheese, low-fat yogurt, black olives and hot sauce. Easy recipe, and filling doesn't make a mess while eating. Thanks!

This was very, very good. A great vegetarian option for Mexican food. I cooked exactly as instructed, but used a potato masher just before serving to mash the whole mixture just a bit. Found it easier to serve into the tortillas this way.

Awesome! Great recipe for newbie veggies. I substituted black beans for garbanzo beans, and tortilla chips for taco shells. I turned out quiet well.

This made a nice dinner. I used a few rings of pickled jalapeno and a lime and garlic salsa. I topped mine with cheddar cheese and sour cream. Thanks Kozmic Blues!

Super substitute for meat tacos!! This is wonderful; if you are a fan of regular tacos/burritos, you have to try this! I might mash the beans a bit next time- I think someone reluctant to forego the meat might like that better.

Wow these are excellent, great combination. My Husband does not even like Tacos but he loved these. My Son's girlfriend is a vegetarian so these worked perfectly. I also cooked some hamburg for those who missed the meat. Personally I did not miss it one bit.
