25 Reviews of Creamy Cucumbers

From: Mr-Mom

On Jun 3, 2005

My wife and I enjoyed making this dish, and enjoyed eating them even more! We added plenty of pepper and also added dried dillweed to the final mixture, and it came out wonderful! It was a cool, refreshing side dish to our potluck Memorial Day barbecue. Thanks for posting!

So easy, and very yummy for the summer! The chives give it a great zing! It's a keeper.

I really enjoyed this. Lovely and creamy. I didn't scoop the seeds out and didn't think it needed it. Thanks for posting.

I just finished preparing this dish for tonight's supper and snuck a taste... they are wonderful! This would be a great addition to any barbeque or picnic. Doubles well.

We enjoyed this cucumber side! I left the peel on because it`s good for you. Made half the recipe. Used scallions in place of the chives. But did garnish with dried chives.Used low fat sour cream & still was creamy! Thanks for a creamy recipe!

Very good! I'd never had a side dish like this before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The dressing was just right--not too rich, not too sweet. We had it with BBQ beef ribs, and they were a great foil to the sweet, rich ribs. My DH thought at first that they were too bland, but once he'd started in on the ribs, he changed his mind and thought they were just right, too. Thanks!

MMMMM! This was very good! If you want to cut fat and still have that "oomph" don't do it. If you follow the recipe, you will love it! Thanks Kelly for a great recipe!

Prepared this cucumber dish tonight; added some sliced onions; so very easy to prepare and so scrumptious to the taste. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
