I made this to go in the lemon angel cake with berries for Passover. I replaced the butter with parve margarine and it still was delicious. The taste was very fresh. I can imagine how good it will be when I make it with the butter to go with a dairy meal.

Gained brownie points with hubby, TRUE! Said was JUST like his late Mum's too! BIGGEST compliment was for me! His grin and enjoyment of this recipe was all I did see!

WOW!!! This rocked. I made it for my mom on mother's day and served it with fresh blueberry scones. It had a knock-you-on-your-butt lemon flavor, and it was nice, thick and creamy. Unfortunatly, it didn't last very long...

This is more tart than other lemon curds I've tried, but I enjoyed it! I used this in sarahmomi's strawberry lemon parfaits. It was perfect. Also tried on ncmysteryshopper's strawberry bread. Wow! I love this recipe! Thanks Rita!

I just made this and it is SOOOO good! Perfect balance of tart and sweet. I've tried other lemon curd recipes and this is the easiest by far. Try the microwave version. It's done in less than 15 minutes. I'll definitely be making this again! Thank you so much!

Did the microwave version to use some egg yolks. I may never make it another way. Really easy, only uses things you have in your house normally, really fast, although it took me longer than 3 minutes, maybe more like 5 or 6. Extremely good.

AMAZING! The microwave method is SO EASY and it tastes SO GOOD!!! I doubled the recipe and had to cook for 3 extra minutes, stirring well after each minute. AWESOME RECIPE!! Thanks!!

I discovered lemon curd while visiting my (then) fiance' on Jersey Channel Islands, UK. Being from Georgia...I'd have to say I was disappointed in the food offerings on Jersey — but Lemon curd and their bean crock are their saving grace! I live on Jersey now..and was asking a coworker (Local Jersey bean) why nobody made Orange curd?! I've seen lime and rhubarb..but never orange. So I decided to give it a whirl! I used this recipe, stovetop method (will try microwave next time, but wanted to go traditional first! ). I used fresh clementine oranges mixed with the juice from 1 lime to make the ½ cup of juice. I combined the orange and lime zest (about 2 Tablespoons total) and followed the rest of the recipe. I did have to cook it longer than 15 minutes at the end (20-23 or so) to thicken it up enough...but it sure is lovely! The lime was needed because oranges are so sweet... that little bit of sour was just enough to take it over the top and give it 5 stars! If I could find some Seville oranges to make this with I would imagine it would be heaven! I'm on a mission now... Grapefruit curd is next... and then pomegranate! Cranberry curd? mmmmm why not! Thanks for the wonderful recipe! I'm taking this in to work to see if I can convert some locals....

Love the lemon flavor, just enough tart to have some zing. Simple to make and great tasting.
