Yummy, easy to make Egg Drop Soup. My DH who loves egg drop soup said this is VERY VERY good. I made it just as stated using canned chicken broth. Thank you very much for posting this easy to make recipe.

We all loved this. I got my broth by cooking 3 boneless chicken breasts with about a cup each of celery, onion, and later carrots, then adding the chicken because we like meat, but this was a great basic recipe. Thanks Chippie!

This was very yummy. I made it using water and bullion, and then left out the salt as it was plenty salty from the bullion. I also left out the chives because I don't personally care for them. Also, being under the weather, I didn't particularly feel like separating the egg, so I just used 4 whole ones, which was plenty. I will definitely make this again!

What a great and easy recipe! We had leftover chinese food for dinner and I wanted something to make it fresh. This quick and tasty soup was perfect! Thanks Chippie!

This soup was so easy and quick to make! I used turkey broth and cut the recipe in half. I wish I hadn't! My husband and daughter came back asking for more! I will be making this often! Thanks Chippie!

Yummy! I used scallions instead of chives and added a pinch of white pepper, too. For the ginger I just simmered the broth (extra salt omitted) with a fresh slice of ginger in the beginning and then removed it. I used about 1/2 teaspoon of toasted sesame oil, too. It's a rainy day here and this is a delicious comforting soup. Thanks!

Wonderful Egg Drop Soup! I made a few adjustments: used vegetable broth instead of chicken broth and omitted the salt, but it tastes just like the restaurants thanks so much for a great recipe!

Delicious soup!! We live in a very rural area and just crave a good egg drop soup every now and then - this fits the bill and then some. So easy to make that DH helped! This will be our soup of choice with our Asian type meals. Also, our 1yr old inhaled this, and 5 & 6 yr olds really enjoyed it, too.

Very good, though we'll add more ginger next time to add more zing. Thanks for sharing the recipe - it's a keeper.
