These are the best little meatloaves!! I love the fact that they are small as we are trying to do a little more "portion control" in our house. The flavor is great, very easy to make. I made them up and froze 4 for another time and when I defrosted those and cooked them, they were just as good as the first time. Putting this on regular rotation!! Thanks DDW!!

Great recipe. I knew on Sunday that I was going to have a very busy week, so I went ahead and made these up, placed them in the casserole dish, wrapped with foil and froze them. I took them out of the freezer on Wed. and put them in the fridge to thaw. Thursday afternoon I took them out of the fridge for about an hour, mixed up the sauce, spooned it over the loaves and baked. They were wonderful. Be sure to recommend this anytime you see someone wanting a recipe that freezes. I did us rubbed savory flakes instead of sage, we just don't care for sage too much. That was the only change I made.

These were the cutest little meatloaves ever! They were very flavourful. I was a little concerned with the amount of milk in the recipe, but the loaves really held their shape well and were still moist and soo good! I might add more cheese next time, or use a stronger cheddar because it really wasn't noticeable. I also put an indentation in each loaf with a spoon before baking so they held the sauce better. One thing I'll also do differently next time is to drain all of the extra grease from the loaves when they're almost done, then pour the sauce over the loaves during the last few minutes. When I made these tonight, I kind of lost most of the delicious sauce in the grease. Still very tasty though and definitely something to be made again! Thanks!

Delicious and easy! I added 1 Tbs chopped garlic and some Worcestershire sauce. The sauce for the top was a tad too sweet for my taste, but it was great to have it spread all over the mini-loaves. Next time I'll just decrease the brown sugar a tad, otherwise this is a great, easy recipe!

These were awesome! I have this recipe in my cookbook for awhile now and have finally got around to trying it~I am sorry that it took me so long! I made the loaves during my Once a Month Cooking Blitz and froze them uncooked. I defrosted them in the fridge overnight and then topped them with the sauce (oh and I doubled the sauce because I like things really saucy). The only thing I changed was I found out too late that I was out of oatmeal, so after seaching through my cupboards decided to use some cheddar cracker crumbs instead. Thanks for posting this, we all enjoyed it!

Very good!!! I made 1/2 the recipe this time but DH loved it so will make the whole recipe next time and freeze some.Used onion flakes instead of onions, used 1 egg and less milk and ground savory. Put in 3 small Pyrex bowls with lids, made it in the morning and refrigerated till supper, put in 350° oven and baked for 20 minutes. The sauce is great and they were nice and moist and tender and delicious. Thanks for posting a great recipe.

These were pretty good- Threw them together during my last oamc session. When I put them together, all I had was old fashioned oats. Still ended up okay I think. Had to pour off some of the "grease" while they were cooking as well. The sauce was a bit too sweet, so next time I will cut down the sugar to 1/4 of a cup. Thanks for sharing!

Delish!!!!! I made these the other night for dinner (along with mashed potatoes and green beans)... YUM! This is the best meat loaf ever!! I did change a few things: left out the sage as I didn't have any. I also made 6 meat loaves rather than 8. And I cut down the brown sugar to 1/3 cup instead of 1/2 cup... was PERFECT sweetness for me. I think 1/2 cup would have been a little too much. I was worried at first while mixing. Have never seen a meat loaf look like that!! It was a lot more runny than I was used to.. when I assembled them and stuck in oven, I'll admit I was concerned. Thought they'd all fall apart!! They sure didn't!!! VERY moist, but stayed together. Will certaianly make again and again. Thanks!

I am not one prone to eating meatloaf, but my husband loves it so I thought why not try and find something we could both enjoy. Well, I found it! I made a few changes: turkey instead of beef, no brown sugar, sage, or mustard, an extra cup of cheese, and I had to add an additional cup and a half of oats. When I made it I doubled the recipe, and it was too runny (and didn't thicken up) hence the extra oats. I ended up with 14 lil' loaves for my freezer. I cooked them before freezing and they defrosted beautifully. I am definitely making these again. Thanks for the keeper!

These are GREAT! The only problem is that they are so good, there weren't any left over. My 1 year old daughter, who doesn't eat ANYTHING gobbled them up! This is something I will make on a regular basis. I fully cooked them and then froze them. I thawed overnight and put in the oven at 350 for 15 minutes and they were great!!!
