This is by far the best recipe I have ever tried that results in tender moist ribs. It is the only way that I will do my ribs from now on. I have my own recipes for ribs on Zaar that give different instructions than this for cooking and they are very good recipes but I say use this cooking method - it is fool proof and the best I have ever tried or.want!. I have done them in the oven at 300 for two hours and then finished them on the BBQ . You really have to watch if you BBQ because the under part can burn (mine came close) Have low heat and distance from the heat source. If you cook them in the oven and want to finish them there just open up the foil 15 minutes before serving and have them 12" from the broiler. What I like is that I can cook the ribs to almost done - even let them cool and then finish them on the BBQ or in the oven like a master chef for 15 minutes- Brenda I can honestly say this is the easiest, best way I have ever done ribs thank-you --

Been using this method for years, I made ribs last week and thought of posting the recipe. Being a good girl I did a search first on Zaar and then discovered that you, my dear Brenda, had already posted it. So here are my 5 stars for this foolproof method of cooking ribs that fall off the bone and are soo easy to make! Like to add that I always use a plain barbeque sauce and jazz that up myself with spices, garlic and hot sauce. And also that I line the baking tray with foil. One time one of the packets leaked and it was quite a job to get the tray cleaned up. Thanks Bren!!

These are the best ribs we've had in a long time and will definitely be making these again, only next time I will use at least 4 pounds of ribs (instead of 2 pounds for the four of us). My husband and one of my sons could have easily polished off 2 pounds each. We served these delicious ribs with Creamy Potato Salad Creamy Potato Salad for a perfect summer meal. We will definitely be making these again this summer.

This is a great recipe. Easy, and the ribs are completely delicious. To make sure every crevice was covered, I cut them into serving sized portions, then dipped each one into the bowl of sauce before wrapping. Then I boiled the remaining sauce for a while, so it could be served on the side when the ribs were ready. No leftovers!

This recipe for ribs is so easy and the results were great. The meat was very tender and I liked the leftovers heated in the microwave even better because the meat firmed up just a little bit. I used Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. Great way to prepare ribs, thanks!

These ribs were excellent and so easy. I will be preparing them this way from now on. The meat just fell of the bone. I used Diana's Gourmet Rib and Chicken babecue sauce. Thanks for a great recipe.

For the Lazy Cook it doesn't get any better than this! I LOVE BBQ but hate standing over a grill babysitting my dinner - this cooking method is much better for me. With the oven temp low, the house doesn't heat up too much and clean up is a snap. All of the reviews about the tenderness of these ribs are right. They are "fall off the bone tender" without actually falling off of the bone and leaving a messy pile of meat. I did follow the suggestion to line my pan with foil as well as wrapping each serving of ribs in foil and I was glad I did because I did have some sauce leakage. These ribs are great! This is the only way I will ever make ribs from now on. Thank you so much BrendaM!

This is like, totally the way to do ribs. I used KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce (traditional)and everyone went wild! I did grill each rack after roasting, about 2 minutes per side, just for that "official" bbq taste. Thanks for a simple, and wonderful recipe. We will do this often! --Marla, Paradise Vly,AZ

Doesn't get any easier or tastier than this! We did brown them on the BBQ pit the last 10 min. to make them crispy and used Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce as someone suggested. I highly recommend this BBQ sauce if your store carries it. My new fav. sauce.
