This recipe is a keeper. Loved the sauce. We really enjoyed it - even our finicky kids liked it (and that's saying a lot, believe me). I'll definitely make this again. Thanks!

This was a really easy dish to prepare that we both enjoyed! My husband said the flavor reminded him of his childhood and he REALLY liked it! Will definitely make this one again! Thank you!

This is an awesome recipe. This is the only one I have used since finding it in a "Taste of Home" magazine years ago. The only difference is that after the meat is browned, I take the patties out, make the gravy in the skillet and then add the patties to it. Fabulous served over buttered egg noodles with a touch of parsley. Glad you posted it...it deserves it!

My fiance flipped over this recipe! He took one bite and said, "This needs to be one of our regulars!" I used chicken flavor stuffing mix instead of breadcrumbes and added sauteed mushrooms and onions. Next time I will reduce the water and ketchup content a bit, but just for personal preference. A very simple, inexpensive, and tasty dinner!

Oh boy, did we love this. The only thing I changed was the soup. I couldn't find "french onion soup" so I used Campell's fat free Vegetable Broth with Onions. So freakin' delicious. I will be passing this one around!

These were really good! I served them with mashed potates and there was enough sauce to use for gravy, even without doubling it.

We liked this recipe for Salisbury steak the best. It has more flavor than the others in my cookbook and its just as easy. Highly recommended, but one change I made after making it many times is I use stuffing mix, dry, from the box instead of the breadcrumbs. It makes the patties more moist and gives it even more flavor. I use the chicken flavored stuffing mix but you could also use the cornbread mix if you prefer. Really good with sauteed mushrooms and sauteed onions added to the sauce in the final stages.

This has got to be the best Salisbury Steak we have had in a long time.Talk about comfort food. The only thing I changed and it wasn't a change though, was to make extra sauce as I know the guys in my house always want extra. This will definately be a keeper, its easy and the taste was to die for. Thanks for such a good recipe Becky!!!

DH loved the sauce! It smelled wonderful while it was cooking. I used the lowest-fat ground beef I could find, and the patties stuck to my skillet (guess I need a new non-stick one), so the presentation wasn't as nice as your photo, but the taste was super!
