this is a nice chili recipe, light on heat so it is good for kids. the turkey lightens it up calorie wise as well. makes a nice casual dinner .

This was an easy recipe that produced great results. My three boys (7, 6 and 4) all ate it. They are fairly picky and do not like beans. The older twqo didn't even comment they just ate it up. I did add cilantro and some green onion to the meat mixture since we had it on hand. This one is a keeper!

This is great, even without added salt or cheddar cheese. A keeper. However, I do not reccomend freezing it- it comes out all liquidy.

Great recipe! I made this for my bean-loving DS and added in chili flakes (lots of chili flakes!) increased the garlic to 2 tablespoons and add in some grated cheddar cheese, I strongly suggest to this a day ahead to allow flavors to blend
thanks for sharing this great recipe Marg!...Kitten

I left town on Monday and made this for DH to have in the refrigerator while I was away. When I got home there was just enough left for me to have today at lunch. It is easy and delicious. I probably added extra green chili but other than that made it as per directions. Thanks for sharing this wonderful make ahead dish.

when I make this for my 2 and 1/2 year old grand-daughter she cleans her plate, I have found I can even add her veges in to it and she doesn't care like her carrots I use carrots matchsticks. She thinks its more cheese I suppose. but she eats every bite, and on occasion has come back and asked for more, please..thanks for sharing.

Good meal for my dieting hubby. We liked it a lot, next time I'd add more chili powder and perhaps some cayenne. It was a little bland for me, but I think that was the point. I put some fat free cheddar on top, that was a bad idea. Fat free cheddar is horrible! Next time I'll use the real thing.

Good chili! We do NOT normally eat our chili with beans but are trying to eat healthier! I was shocked that dh actually ate it! It was rather tomatoey for us and we do like lots of spice so it was not hot enough- that is personal preferance. We just added some cayenne to our bowls to adjust. Next time I think we will try this with one can of tomatoes. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Added diced green bell pepper + a little extra hot sauce. Next time put in a little celery or maybe canned corn. Not bad.
