This brings back memories of childhood. Mixed this up as directed and baked it in a 10 inch bundt pan. The glaze is absorbed into the cake and after sitting for 24 hours the cake is so moist and wonderful. Definitely a keeper.

This was really moist and delicious! I think it would be nice to sprinkle some powdered sugar on top to decorate but otherwise everything was just right.

Yum! This was really good. i did as you directed and waited a day for the glaze to absorb. So moist! i did accidently pick up lemon cake mix instead of yellow but it made it taste really good and fruity! To the glaze i added some nectar to it too. Thanks!

The biggest problem with this cake is how to keep folks from digging in before waiting 24 hours. The cake is so moist and fruity, I wouldn't change a thing.

This recipe brings back childhood memories for me also. My grandmother used to make this for us all the time. I had misplaced the recipe and am so glad to find it here. So DELICIOUS!

I agree with justcallmetoni, the only problem I had with this cake was keeping DH out of it and I was unsuccessful doing that. It did get to sit for about 6 hours before he swapped a piece. I love this cake. I used a lemon cake mix instead of yellow and put it in a 9X11 dish. Cooked it for 45 minutes and it was perfect. My sister makes it all the time and it's one of her favorites and mine. Thanks JQ.

This was VERY easy to make. The cake was a bit crumbly, but very good texture. I found the cake just laking in flavor. . it needed more something. a
