My family absolutely loves bread pudding--better than pie--so I decided to make this for Christmas dessert (leaving out the raisins because my BIL doesn't like them). Of course it was a hit. The flavor from the Bailey's came through very strongly and made it extra special. This just might become a family tradition.

I highly recommend this easy and tasty bread pudding. I prepared it early in the day and placed it in the refrigerator until I wanted to serve it that evening. The added flavor of Irish Cream is just wonderful. I sprinkled it with brown sugar before baking, but not the raisins and nutmeg. I served it with freshly made whipped cream and it was a hit. Warm or cold, this is a delicious dessert. Thank you for sharing this excellent recipe.

Forget drinking your Bailey's Irish Cream, use it instead for this very easy to make bread pudding. The French bread crusts add texture to the pudding and a crunch to the surface. I added the raisins and brown sugar mixed with the nutmeg. I didn't have enough Bailey's and used a less expensive version to make up the difference. I served it hot with vanilla ice cream and we ate the leftovers right out of the frig. I would love to try it again with Irish Soda Bread made with caraway seeds. Thanks Mean Chef for this delightful dessert recipe.

Yummy Bailey's flavor, moist and creamy. Some notes: I used 1% milk and forgot to scald it, the pudding came out fine. Our local grocery stores sell two 8-ounce loaves of french bread in a paper sleeve and call them French Twins. I used one loaf and it was just the right amount.

I made this for dessert last night and it was very tasty. I think I would use a few less raisins but I can't wait to try it cold. It is pretty simple to make too.

This is the very best bread pudding. I made it for guest on St Patricks day, Everyone loved it. Made it just like the recipe stated. Poured a little of the Baileys Irish cream over it after I took it out of the oven, served it with whipped cream, Yummy. I am going to make it next time using the Irish Soda Bread. Thank you so much for posting the recipe.

I doubled this recipe. My husband and I loved it! My 7 year old didn't care for the liqueur taste. It's really very good!!! Maybe more for the adult palate.

This is the best. I did as another reviewer did and let the bread soak until it got mushy-can't tell it is made of bread this way. Great recipe!

I may have "accidently" added more Bailey's than this called for... and LOVED it!!! I think I will serve it at an upcoming dinner party. I will come up with some kind of Bailey's sauce to drizzle over it too! Thanks, Irmgard!
