Have never made Mean Chef's recipe that turned out less than perfect and I've been using his recipes for a number of years now. Needless to say, I was intrigued by the fist negative review I came across. I made his Cole Slaw Saturday, after lunch. My head of Napa cabbage was very large, so I had to double the dressing. (I loved the dressing.) Put the bowl with Cole Slaw in the fridge and went sailing. When I returned Cole Slaw bowl and lots of smaller bowls were in the dishwasher. Kids loved it for a snack. I'll be definitely making this one again. Ballottine

This cole slaw is good. I liked the subtle honey mustard flavor. I cut back on the vinegar as my family doesn't care for a strong vinegary flavor. I'll be making this one again. Thanks alot Mean Chef!

Added a spoonful more of mayonnaise as I found the mustard flavour to be a bit overpowering.

After reading all the reviews I decided this was the cole slaw recipe to make. Mixed all the dressing ingredients, except the vinegar. Since other reviewers stated it was too vinegary I added it slowly, tasting as I went along. Ended up adding a little over half the amount of vinegar. This was an oustanding recipe! All my guests loved it.

DH loves coleslaw and he loved this one. I think he ate almost half of it before and during dinner. He did say that it has a bit more zip than the usual slaw but it was great. I was lazy and used 1 bag of packaged slaw (~ 7 1/2 C) and a handful of pre-shredded carrots. I know we will be having this a lot. Thanks.

Great cole slaw. Just like the slaw I would expect from a top-notch deli. I used a medium sized head of regular cabbage but otherwise changed nothing and won't next time. The proportion of ingredients is just right as is.

This is a great recipe! I am not a real fan of mayo, but the celery seed and apple cider vinegar serve to mask some of that for me. I quintupled this recipe for a church function recently and it disappeared. Thanks, Mean Chef!

Faced with a head of Napa cabbage and not knowing what to do with it, I took Impera Magna's advice and used this recipe. An absolute surprise ---- think it would be a good one to serve with fish. I will be at least using the dressing recipe again ---- but I still prefer green cabbage!

FANTASTIC! My family LOVED it - even the kids! This is a definite keeper! My husband said it was the best he's ever had - and his mom makes some pretty good cole slaw, so for him to say it was better than mom's, well....you know it is GREAT! Thanks for sharing!
