I didn't wait 10 minutes and mix again , I just starting making and they turned out great. I used my giant grill spatula with holes in it as a makeshift spaetzle maker and it worked well, just spooned batter on to it ,held it over the pot and pressed it through with a solid spatula. All done in 10 minutes! Perfect served with AudreyM's chicken with creamy paprika sauce.

It was very simple to make. Just drop dough into boiling water using 2 teaspoons, and break off little pieces. EXCELLENT with Authentic Hungarian Goulash by sugarpea.

Oh yum! What else can I say? These were very easy to make - with the help of my Kiddo's strong hands stirring the dough. We switched back and forth - one adding four and one stirring. Too bad she wasn't home to eat the the finished product - the Chicken Paprikas! (But I saved her some)

I made this with your Hungarian Chicken Paprikas #54820 for my husband's birthday because I was under the impression that his mom had always made these with chicken paprikas. Turns out she usually made potatoes and dumplings. He and my daughter both liked it very much. I had halved the recipe because I'd had nokedli in a restaurant and wasn't impressed, but I liked these better. Will make again.

for a twist try grating some fresh nutmeg into the dough, mmm it is SOOO good. saute in butter after... TO DIE FOR. great recipe. also, if you make the dough a little thicker you can lay it on a WELL FLOURED board and holding the board over the pot of boiling water, use a SHARP FLOURED knife to cut shoestrings into the water. yummmmy.

These are so easy to make and taste so good. I used my spaetzle maker instead of spoons and it went quicker. I made a double patch to along with our pork and sauerkraut dinner. Very good just like grandma use to make!

Wow, this brought back memories. I have been dreaming about Nokedli Paprikas for years, don't know why I didn't even think to make it (it always tastes better when my Mom makes it anyway, you know what I mean). Decided to make this for the first time for a special dinner honoring my Hungarian father, who passed away two years ago. I actually made a double recipe, didn't have any trouble stirring up the batter. I added some paprika to the batter for color, went wonderfully with Deborah's Chicken Paprikas #95515. Thank you so much for resurrecting a wonderful family memory!

Easy to make. I broke my spaetzle press last year, so I used a potato ricer to make these. It worked out OK. I'm uploading a picture, and I hope it is what these are supposed to look like....even if I don't have the 'look' quite right, they tasted very good. I served these with Vegetable Paprikash (#140639).

Very easy to make and much less labour-intensive than my usual potato dumplings! I served these with Deborah's Chicken Paprikas and my husband totally raved over the meal. He has requested them the next time I make Hungarian goulash. Thanks for sharing this recipe!
