My husband doesn't like ground turkey, but this meatloaf is the ONE exception. The consistency is fantastic - it stays together perfectly and has a wonderful flavor. I tried using just one pound of turkey and it worked fine, I just added a few more breadcrumbs (saltines). I don't usually add much ketchup on top, just a little for color. Thanks so much for this recipe - it's saved me on many busy nights!

I made this recipe into meatballs to go with spaghetti, and my husband, who doesn't normally like meatballs, raved about how wonderful they were!! He said they were the best meatballs he has ever tasted. And I agree! This recipe is a keeper. I'll be making it often from now on, both as "meatloaf meatballs", and as meatloaf. Thanks for a great recipe!!

This is some seriously delicious meatloaf! I'm glad I doubled the recipe! I have to say, I did make some substitutions and add some things. I used egg beaters, and added 1/4 cup parmesan cheese. I used garlic powder and dried onion flakes because I was lazy. I also added 1 teaspoon of oil to make up for the butter. I added some red pepper flakes and some creole seasoning. I didn't have a loaf pan, so I just molded them into loaf shapes and placed them on a baking sheet, then squeezed ketchup over them. In about 50 minutes, both loaves were done. My picky stepson was asking for seconds! Thanks for the tasty recipe!

Yum! Words can not explain how wonderful we thought this recipe was. I added alittle green pepper and used Garlic & Herb breadcrumbs. I think its better than using beef. This recipe will be used alot in the future! Thanks so much for sharing great recipe!

Excellent meatloaf! Very moist and flavorful. The only thing I did differently was to saute the onions and garlic in olive oil rather than butter and use a little less than 1/2 cup ketchup on top. Thanks for a keeper of a recipe!

This is an excellent recipe. I love the flavor and so did my coworkers; who snagged pieces from my lunch plate and then asked for the recipe. The texture isn't mushy, can hold up to a red or white sauce, and was delicious served with whole fat plain yogurt. I substituted crushed soda crackers for the bread crumbs. Sometimes I'll use oatbran in place of the bread crumbs, too. Thanks for sharing this wonderful treat.

Very good. Most recipes (turkey or beef) call for adding chopped raw onions. It never occured to me how cooking the onions would affect the outcome. Thanks for the posting!

The texture was very moist...almost like a cake! I decided not to add extra salt due to the Worcestershire and catsup and it was perfect. I had to keep it in the oven for 1.5 hours before it was cooked. But the end result was great!

I was looking for something quick to make the other night with a package of ground turkey and found your recipe. I had everything, but the catsup (don't really like it). I substituted barbecue sauce for the catsup and it was REALLY GOOD. I will be making this again.

I made this last night and was very impressed. I was expecting mediocrity, but this far surpassed my expectations. I made the recipe as is, but added a few chopped white mushrooms and about 1/2 cup of shredded carrot. The mushroom added a nice flavour. Will definitely be making this one again!
