This turned out really good! I've tried making something like it before. The step of covering the skillet for a few minutes made a difference. One tip: do avoid overcooking use the smaller burner on your stovetop. Also,I used a butter spray instead and saved quite a bit on calories. Next time, I think I'll try using a cookie cutter shape especially with Easter coming around the corner I think a bunny will create a little more intrigue and excitement from my children.

We had an unexpected snowstorm in Israel and we are all stuck in the house. I thought this would be fun to make for the kids for lunch. Similar to Moonstruck Eggs by Heather Feather, but much cuter with the hats! Needless to say, my kids thought these were adorable and gobbled them right up!

I learned to make these in High School. Which I don't mind saying was a FEW years ago. We called them Eggs in a Nest. I had forgot about them. Thanks for reminding me I think I will make them for my kids soon!!

I combined this with French Toast (French Toast...I'm not a fan of French Toast but this one is a must try!) and it was excellent. I definately will be making this again...thanks for the post!

My family loves eggs and this gave us a change of pace from the usual egg recipes. It's simple to make and kids and adults like it. The first 2 times that I made it I covered the pan and the eggs were overcooked before the toast was browned. Perhaps because I used a teflon pan. The third time I put the bread in the pan about a minute before the eggs and then it came out perfect and delicious !

I made this morning for my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter who is not big on breakfast. I dipped the bread for french toast. Making some for grandpa otherwise I wouldn't do it special. Then at the end before I put the top hat I put some cheese on the egg. She gobbled it up. That's says alot. My little one gave it 5 stars and so do I for being cute, fun, tasty and effective.

These were appealing and tasty. Next time though I will use a denser bread, used a soft white and the butter from the top melted down through the bottom, so I didn't achieved browning on the bottom before flipping. A 2-3/4" biscuit cutter was a perfect size and I'm using the 'hole' to use a crustless sandwich for my DS's lunchbox. For my DH's I topped his w/american cheese.
