Fabulous !! My house smells wonderful, and the taste is even better!!! So simple to make, too!! I didn't have any whole wheat flour, so I just used regular (unbleached, all purpose) flour--the taste is still fabulous!! This will be a regular 'on the go' breakfast for me..couldn't be easier to make! thanks a million for posting!! TERESA

Light and delicious! I used butter rather than margarine otherwise as stated. Used a food processor to cut in the butter. Also, a pizza wheel makes cutting the dough before baking a snap. Lovely for breakfast or as a side to a bowl of soup or dinner. These will be a regular at our house. Thanks, Barb, for another fabulous recipe!

I made a HUUUGE batch of these for my Holiday baking, and they turned out beautifully. 15 minutes at 350 was perfect for me. Also, I'll second the person who suggested the pizza cutter to shape the dough, that made it quite easy. I'll be making these again for sure, they are delicious! Edit: I tried these again and used a cookie cutter to shape the dough. These are great.

These turned out well considering I have no experience in making scones! I made them to go alongside some lentil soup for lunch. I used butter, full fat cheese and trim milk as i didn't have buttermilk. So the calorie content was slightly different but they turned out great! I will surely make these again! Thanks!

Very nice!!! Not dry like scones sometimes are. It had lovely ham flavor. I used to make a ham & cheese scone from cooking light that had a ton more butter. This is really wonderful and worth the 4 points!

I'm sorry but this was really on the dry side. I had such hopes that this was going to be a keeper. It just didn't work for us. Thanks, Barb Gertz for posting.

This was a great recipe for scones. I loved the texture. I did think the flavor was lacking so next time I will double the fixings and add in my own twist!
