really good! I made this with splenda (boil it just like the sugar, for 5 minutes or so - until it thickens). I\'ve tried it with bananas, mangos and strawberries. It\'s so fresh - really delicious.

We used a mango juice in this recipe and lessened the amount of water to create a sorbet for our luau at church and it was very well received. Thanks for sharing and helping to make our event memorable!

WOW! This turned out great! It was so easy! I just used some, how do you say, extremely ripe bananas, pureed them in the food processor, and it was awesome! I don't think I've ever so much as heard of banana sorbet, and if THAT was so good, imagine the possibilities!

I used two big mangos and served it with strawberries. It was a really nice low-calorie dessert.

Good stuff! My fave ice cream parlor in town makes plum sorbet, but it's seasonal (and EXPENSIVE) so I thought I'd try making my own. What a great, versatile, and simple recipe! I used red plums and peaches, and threw in a TB of lemon juice- I also used 1/2 the boiling water to dissolve the sugar, then used ice cubes to make up the other half- so no chilling time was necessary for the sugar syrup, it all went straight into the ice cream maker. The sorbet turned out perfect. I will be using this recipe over and over again!

Awesome reciepie. I made strawbery sorbet with 2 pounds of frozen strawberries. I continued boiling the sugar water mixture for one minute then removed and mixed in the fruit puree. I froze mine in my Gelato by lello for 35 minuter and it turned out perfect!

This was so good and easy. I used only 1/3 c of sugar, peaches pureed with one banana, splash of vanilla, and a dash of cinnamon. It was delicious. This was my first at making sorbet and I will definitely be doing it again.
