I'm new at cooking Tilapia and found this recipe very good. I had a little less than one pound of fish but still used the same amount of cheese topping and it turned out great. I baked the fish for about 15 minutes and then put it under the broiler for 5 minutes to brown the cheese. The only change I would make is to reduce the amount of butter to 2 T. (personal preference)and maybe try it with fresh basil. Very nice flavor and easy to prepare.

WOW! Outstanding flavor for a mild fish like tilapia. My fillets were thin, so I baked them the minimal time, and the sauce baked on nice and golden and quite delish. Of the 7 fillets we had, DH inhaled 5, good thing the kids had made other plans. Will most definitely be making again so the kids can savor as well.

The flavor of the parmesan sauce really does make you say WOW on your first bite. I used double the Old Bay and used two 13x9 baking dishes to make 8 filets (which was 2 lbs). I only wish that I had added minced garlic to the sauce. I'll try that next time. Cleanup was a breeze. Hope my photo helps.

I never thought of fish as comfort food until I made this! It's hard to go wrong with butter (I used Smart Balance) and cheese, but just to be sure, I added a couple crushed garlic cloves (thanks Sue L for the idea). I didn't have seasoning salt, so I used garlic salt. I broiled it for the last 3 minutes to brown it a little. Next time I might broil it the entire time so it's a bit more firm and crisp--then again, the soft, delicate texture of the fish complimented the rich, creamy sauce rather well. Served this with steamed rice and a green salad.

YUMMY! Thanks for sharing such a super way to prepare Tilapia. My fillets were thin so I cooked only about 8 minutes, then browned under the broiler for about 2 minutes. They came out perfect. We will be having this again and again.

OH MY GOSH!! This was absolutely delicious - made me feel like I was eating in a gourmet restaurant. Used orange roughy instead of tilapia, only because that's what was in the freezer. Will try tilapia next time, and I'm sure it will be just as wonderful! Thanks for a great recipe.

Fabulous! I used flounder since it was on sale and it was fantastic! DH does not like fish very much but he said he likes this very much! I broiled it. The topping was nice and golden brown and the fish was nice and flaky and light! Thanks for a great recipe!

OH MY!!! It was the best fish ever. So easy and SOOOO good. I am not much of a fish fan but I would gladly make and eat this dish on a regular basis. I used real juice from a lemon and Miracle Whip Lite and it was fabulous. The best fish I've ever eaten, in a restuarant or at home. Thank you for posting the recipe.

Recipes do not get better than this!!! I have made it twice now, the first time my dh loved it so much he just about fell over. The second time he had a friend over who loved it as well. Even better the next day for lunch! No changes had to be made at all. You really dont notice the mayo at all (this coming from someone who hates it!) Thanks so much for sharing! This will become a regular meal in our house.
