I must revise my previous review: I cannot tell you how good these really are! I have made them probably eight times since I found this recipe in October. No matter what party of event Im going to everyone loves them. My mini chopper does a great job of chopping the pepperoni and preventing carpel tunnel! I've been adding some Italian seasoning and a little garlic powder to them. I also use a block and half of cream cheese, and like an 8 oz package of pepperoni, because I like a lot of filling. The way mine get folded, the filling is not completely covered but they usually don't leak and if they do its no big deal. These are the best thing since sausage balls! THANK YOU!!

Addictively yummy little buggers!! I needed to bake these at 375 to get them crispy enough, but that's probably my oven's fault. One of the great things about this recipe is that it inspires all kinds of creativity--bacon/ham/sausage instead of pepperoni, adding green onions/olives/hot peppers/fresh herbs, topping with seeds, etc., etc. I can't wait to make them again--at the last party a full platter was emptied in 10 minutes flat! Thanks Ashley!!

easiest party food ever! everyone loves them but MEN go crazy for them (my dh, brother, BIL, and dad were fighting for the last ones). dh prefers the original recipe but i recently made this with pepperoni, chopped spanish olives stuffed w/ pimento, and Italian seasoning - great combination. i don't pinch dough around filling. instead, i quickly roll the dough around the filling and make round balls; its faster and looks pretty on a nice plate.

Tasty, easy treat! Took a few shortcuts, and this is what I came up with. I unrolled the can of dough onto a baking sheet (did not separate the rolls), spread cream cheese on the dough, then sprinkled with a little Good Seasons Italian Seasoning Mix, layed the pepperoni slices on (didn't bother to chop), and rolled up the entire thing to make one GIANT crescent. Baked at 350 degrees F for about 20 minutes, until golden brown. Cooled for about five minutes then sliced and served with lasagna meal. Hubby and I give this a big thumbs up!!! Can't wait to try variations---will make this over and over again. Thank you!!!

I loved these. I made this hormel turkey slices because my in-laws don't eat pork and added chopped green onions, 1 green chili pepper, and minced garlic. They turned out really good. MAke sure and put alot of cream cheese in the dough and then stretch the dough around the cream cheese to get maximum flavor.

Since I usually have 2 out of the 3 ingredients I desided to try these out. I didn't have the pepperoni on hand...it's not my favorite thing...so I used what I had...a small jar of dried beef. I put it in my mini chopper and and shredded it very fine. The puff balls came out wonderful with the exception the filling was slightly salty...my fault I didn't rinse the dried beef before I chopped it. Actually would have been fine if I had doubled the recipe. Then I made them again and used a small can of imitation crab, a teaspoon of chopped garlic, 3green onions and a dash of worchestershire. Both times these little bites of joy disappeared almost as fast as they came out of the oven. They are on my Super Bowl refreshment list...maybe a triple batch. I am also thinking maybe a sweet puff ball...cream cheese and crushed pineapple that has been drained really well. Danzy

This was a hit at my party! I rolled them into balls instead of pinching the sides. I also made these the night before and popped them in the oven 10 minutes before the party started. Great recipe! this is a keeper!

These make great appetizers, and they are very quick and simple to make. They would also be good with other pizza ingredients, like mushrooms, sausage, peppers, etc. We dipped them in pizza sauce. Thanks for the recipe!

DH sayes MORE! I fixed these to take to an office pot luck but DH ate them all! I used my mini chopper to chop the pepperoni and mix in the cream cheese. Very quick! I didn't have any more of the Crescent Dinner Rolls but I fixed another batch with the pepperoni and cream cheese and spread it on slices of ham and smoked turkey and made roll ups. They went fast!

I made this exactly to the recipe. Excellent! The mini chopper worked perfectly on the pepperoni. Next time I'm going to play with the filling ingredients. I served them with spaghetti sauce for dipping and it was great! Thanks!
