This soup not only tasted great but it was so simple to make. I doubled the recipe and added salt and pepper to taste and a dash of garlic powder. This soups flavor really comes out the next day. Thank you for such a simple and quick yet delicious meal.

Hearty, thick and quick for a busy evening. A great, filling meal with lots of flavor and few ingredients. I made no changes to the recipe and it was fantastic.

What a great comfort food!! I will be good on a cold snowy day or anytime you just want to feel warm inside!! I did add some salt and pepper to it, I may even try a little red pepper when I want a kick to it.

Excellent soup! I used turkey sausage and also used chicken broth instead of water. I added a pinch of Mrs.Dash and salt and pepper to the end. Very hearty, warm and delicious! Thank you Laurie!

How can something so simple be so good??? I was looking for something quick to make with ingredients on hand. My only substitition was a can of baked beans with bacon as I did not have any bean with bacon soup - delicious. A real comfort food that will become a regular at my house. Thanks for sharing.

This is definitely a keeper! I made some variations, however it would be great just as is. I added extra veggies, especially onions, since we absolutely love 'em... and cooked them in chicken broth. I added the uncooked slices of kielbasa after about 10 minutes of simmering time, added a 12 oz can of v8 juice and a can of drained rotella tomatoes with chiles. It was excellent at this point, even. After adding the bean soup and tasting it, that definitely was a souuuperb finishing touch. Thank you sooo much for this recipe!

Very quick and easy with great flavor. The soup was simmering when Hubby came home for dinner and after sampling it, he commented that it was a great version of Bean and Bacon that he ate as a kid. I had to fess up that it did have canned soup in it, but before that, he thought I was a genius. LOL

DELICIOUS!!! I love this soup! It's comforting, tasty, and so quick and easy. I browned the kielbasa first and took it out of the pot. I cooked the onion, carrots, and celery for few minutes and I used chicken stock instead of water. The bean with bacon soup adds a great flavor and makes this soup nice and creamy. I let it simmer for 20 minutes, mashed it with potato masher a little, and had a huge bowl of it for lunch. I can only imagine it will be even better the next day. This is definitely going into my Favorite recipes cookbook. Thank you Laurie!

This soup was so perfect for us tonight. I needed something fast and hearty and had all these ingredients on hand, plus a handful of mushrooms that I threw in. It was really cold here today and my husband works outside, this was the perfect meal to warm him from the inside out. I made this as written, adding a bit extra water...I think my potatoes were sucking it up. Thanks so much Laurie, this was devoured and asked for again

This hits the spot!!!! Quick and easy. I also sauteed the veggies a little and added chicken stock. Yummy!
