I whipped this up in just a few minutes. I put all the ingredients in my stand mixer and just started it a'mixing. I used Dutch processed cocoa instead of the regular stuff because I like the taste more, but otherwise left it the same. We used apple slices and pretzel rods to dip into it, and there is more in the fridge for later. Tasty and pretty good for you. The taste of the honey is slightly odd and takes a few bites to get used to, though. I particularly liked how well it used the fat free sour cream. I don't think yogurt as a replacement would work here. Yum.

I thought this was teriffic Dancer^. Rather than use this a a dipping sauce, I cut up some apples, oranges, kiwi, grapes and bananas and stirred them into the sauce. A little less messier and you get to scoop up all the sauce. Good recipe for summer or winter. The sauce could even be heated a bit for a different texture. Thanks again Dancer^

Unfortunately, this dip just didn't do it for me. I substituted nonfat plain yogurt for the sour cream, and I just didn't care for the combination of the yogurt's tartness with the chocolate flavor. Perhaps sour cream would have made a slight difference, (it's a little less tart), but I still would not have liked the tart flavor of the sour cream mixed with the chocolate.

I have tried this and got good comments on it, it did taste just a little off to me, but I wil try again and see if just a little something different would make it even better.

I enjoyed this! I agree that yogurt probably wouldn't work. I was able to use half the amts of honey & cocoa to cut down on calories & still felt like the taste was wonderful. That's just me, though! Can't wait to start dipping some fruits; thank u for sharing.

Made this as written & used a light, mild honey since I didn't want to detract from the fact that I made this for myself as a CHOCOLATE FIX! Great with fruit, for sure (& I also enjoyed it as dip for cold mozzarella sticks & pretzels)! Thanks for a great keeper!
