Try a carmel cake mix with chocolate chips and a 1/2 cup pecans!!! I put the mix in the fridge to chill before forming into balls and baking. They turn into nice uniform cookies. I get rave reviews whereever I take these cookies!!

This recipe is sooo easy to make, and its a real hit. Everyone in my house likes soft cookies, and these are the softest. My favorite flavor of cake mix to use is lemon, but chocolate is good too (they taste like brownies!)

So incredibly easy, yummy, and versatile, I'll probably never make cookies from scratch again. The cookies are perfectly soft and chewy...what more could one ask for?

OH my goodness !!! There should be a law against what I just made LOL. I chose a orange supreme cake mix (I love orange) and I added chopped up dark chocolate (from a chocolate bar) I also added (from Halloween treats given to me) one small reeses caramel chocolate bar and one small snickers chopped up. Those are the small treat size ones. Fantastic, some of these are for my cookie swap. I must note: the cook time of 11 minutes was not near enough though, I had to bake them for almost 14-15 minutes, but that could be my oven.

This is such a great throw together recipe. I used a cinnamon swirl cake mix and added half of the cinnamon sugar packet to the batter and rolled the balls in the other half before baking to make it like a snickerdoodle. Mine made just over 2 dozen - they were probably a bit bigger than the cooking time suggests since mine took 14-15 min. at 350*. I will definitely use this recipe over and over as a quick way to whip up cookies since I always have these ingredients on hand. Thank you to Dawn for such a great recipe.

I made these with a butter pecan cake mix and added 1/2 tsp almond flavoring. Most popular cookies at the potluck!

These are soooo easy. I had three bake sales to contribute to last week and this is the recipe I used. The combinations I used were: chocolate cake mix w/choc chips AND vanilla cake mix w/butterscotch chips and walnuts.I packaged them in clear cellphane bags alternating choclate & vanilla cookies (stacked up). They looked adorable, they were easy and THEY WERE YUMMY!

The whole gang loved these at poker night! I made them with devils food cake and every kind of candy chip I could find: chocolate, peanut butter, butterscotch and white chocolate. Sooo yummy! I have also made these using strawberry cake mix and chocolate chips...they came out tasting like chocolate covered strawberries! And this week for Halloween I used an Orange Supreme cake mix with chocolate and white chocolate chips. So divine! They tasted like those chocolate oranges you get at Christmas! Thanks for this wonderful recipe!

I've been making this recipe for years. My kids love them. They made this batch. They used cherry cake and leftover crumbled browmies in the mixture.
