I got lots of rave reviews on this one. Even a request to make 2 more for a friend! I made pies using both regular crust and graham cracker crust. My guests really liked the graham better so I will be putting this into our Thanksgiving menu each year. Thanks!

This pie is awesome ! The only change I made is to add 1 tsp. of pumpkin pie spice. It"s easy , delicious and I also used a medium can of yams, mmmmgood ! Thanks for sharing.

This recipe needed some spices. I made this pie for my family for Thanksgiving. Everyone loved it, however, I can guarantee that would not have been the case had I not added the following: 1 t vanilla extract; 1/2 t ground cinnamon; 1/2 t ground nutmeg; and 1/4 t salt. My family just would not have enjoyed it without the spices. Also, the timing is off...it took at least 45 minutes. I think I'll up the temp a bit next time. It's a good start. Thanks for posting.

This is possibly the single best pie I've ever tasted! It has a creaminess and richness to rival any mousse. I did make an adjustments to it though. It seemed to me to be lacking in savoriness, so I added spices that are typically found in pumpkin pie, in the typical measurements. Brilliant! Also, I discovered that the center never quite set, even after 30+ minutes. I think maybe next time I'll turn up the oven temp by 25 degrees or so. But all in all, this one was a bona fide winner!

i hate too spoil the reviews but this pie is firm and on the dry side and tacky in the mouth like peanutbutter can be. it does need some spices for sure. also took longer than 20-30 minutes to set, more like 45. i was disappointed as the pie had a lovely color and was fluffy and tall out of the oven.
husband ate 1 piece to be polite and my 12 year old said he wished i had made pumpkin pie instead. will try a pie with evaporated milk next time....

This pie was so delicious. It was the best sweet potato pie I have ever tasted. I've been searching for a good recipe for years, and have finally found it. I tried a couple of recipes here as well as other recipe sites and this one is the best by far. Thanks for sharing a wonderful recipe!!

I made this pie for my Mom and Dad because they cannot have any spices. They thought is was excellent. My Mom ate three pieces!Something she never does. They have already asked me if I would make them another one sometime. Thanks for making my parents happy.

So easy that my daughter was able to throw this together using a prepared pie crust of course. So would I had I made it! We dont get sweet potatoes only yams and the ones I had seemed to be lacking in flavor but it was still a great pie for our turkey dinner.

Really delicious! This is the first sweet potato pie I'd ever made--it came out great, and it was so easy. I think next time I might use more sweet potato and less sugar, as it was a bit on the sweet side.
