Tastes as good as my favourite Greek restaurant version. I left out the tomato.... I grated the cucumber into a colander and then lightly salted it and left to drain the moisture from it for about 30 minutes before adding it to the other ingredients.....I will be making this on a regular basis from now on....Had it tonight with salmon loaf and roasted vegetables....it was a wonderful complement to a refreshing spring dinner. Thanks!

I left out the tomato because I think it makes the product too watery after a while. Love this on pitas.

Being Greek I know my TZATZIKI!
This is one of the most authentic recipes I have tried! The only thing I did different was to add more garlic
)Thanks for the recipe Mean Chef!

Wow! Fantastic! Just as good, maybe better, than any Tzatziki we've had in Greece the six or seven times we bareboat charted there. Like so many others, I was astounded by the amount of whey that dripped out of the yogurt. I made this with the lemon juice; left out the tomato; grated the cucumber; and put the garlic through the garlic press. Easy to make: just remember to start the night before you want it!

There really is nothing left to say, except this is perfect. The best Tzatziki I have ever had with the perfect blend of flavor and ingredients. I am especiallly thankful for the idea of using a coffee filter, which keep me from having to go and buy cheesecloth just to make this sauce. Thank you so much Mean Chef!

Great salad!! It's very light, refreshing and simple to put together. I followed CaroleAnne's suggestion and salted the cucumbers to remove some of the moisture. I left out the tomato and added extra garlic. We loved this salad, I'll be making it again soon. Thanks Mean Chef!

This was excellent! I didn't pay attention to the amount it yields so I have TONS of leftovers! No problem though! I will eat it up with lots of flatbread! I will use just a touch more garlic next time (and 1/2 the recipe!). Thank you for the recipe, my beloved says "it's a keeper"!

I used low fat yogurt, an English cucumber and omitted the tomato. I just felt this was a very healthy snack to eat with veggies or on pita. I couldn't believe how much liquid drained off the yogurt. This truly is a great recipe which I will use repeatedly. Thanks for posting.

This had a wonderful flavor to go with our gyros. I did do a couple of things wrong so everyone can learn from my mistakes: I combined everything in the food processor and I did not drain the yogurt (I didn't have any coffee filters). It turned out a lot runnier than I would have liked, but still tasted excellent. Thank you!
