A very good rendition of the classic cucumber salad. I used basil instead of the dill (personal preference). It was very good served as a side with roast chicken breast.

A Delicious, refreshing, salad. DH loved it. I made it using Armenian cucumbers from our garden. Also added 2 tablespoons lower fat mayoniase to the dresssing & used white wine vinegar, next time I am going to use lemon juice just to taste the difference. We have a lot of cucumbers so I will be making this again soon. Thank you Rita, for this tasty recipe.

Very refreshing for sure, and not too sweet. I used vinegar, and particularly enjoyed the red onions and fresh dill combination. Instead of the sour cream I used light greek yogurt which I had on hand. Thanks very much Rita!

This is an excellent cucumber salad!!! The dressing was perfect. I often don't like sour cream dressings unless they contain salad dressing or mayo but this was delish. I loved the dill with the cucumbers and the little bit of vinegar was tasty but not overpowering. I added a couple of thinly sliced radishes to this salad, as I wanted to use them up. They were a great addition. I will for sure make this salad again and again. Wonderful!!!

I used this recipe to go along with some cherry tomatoes and iceberg lettuce I had. I used mayo instead of sour cream and 1T of vinegar and 1T lemon juice. I crumbled crispy bacon on top. It turned out delicious!

What a fantastic cucumber recipe this is! I doubled the recipe and served this to guests along with a salmon dinner on Sunday, this is so light and refreshing and a wonderful change from a regular salad, not to mention a great way to use up cucumbers from my summer crop! The only adjustment I made was I increased the sugar slightly. I know I will make this again soon, thank you for sharing this great cucumber recipe Rita we loved it!...Kitten

This is a nice change from the sweet cucumber salads so prevalent-I enjoyed the tart lemon juice and zippy onions. I used 1/2 tsp. dried dill and it worked fine. Thanks for giving me a different way to use cucumbers!

This was good... perhaps a little too bland for my tastes. Next time, I will probably up the sugar just a touch more. Other than that, this was great. Thanks for posting such a quick and easy recipe!

Very easy and delicious!! I had cucumbers left over from pickling so decided to try a cucumber salad. I did not add the sugar, but did crumble a bit of feta cheese on top. Thanks!!

Very tasty and oh so easy! I halved the recipe and used lemon juice and dried dill. Lovely refreshing flavors.
