23 Reviews of Copycat Cinnabon' for the Bread Machine

From: Lily Orleans Mura

Great recipe for making when you are busy. I didn't have any vanilla pudding so I used Cheesecake instant puccding instead & they still taste great. Nice dough to work with. Not very sticky at all! Also the oven trick for the second raising worked great!

Excellent cinnamon buns. The only change I made to these were to add about 1/2 cup raisins to the dough after the first beep. I used a cream cheese frosting on these. I would suggest using a larger pan to bake these in. They were really crammed in my 9x13 pan. The center rolls were a bit underdone. Thanks Paula&Matt.

I made this recipe and the corresponding icing recipe and was really pleased. My husband says they are incredibly close and I think they must be too because I was unable to finish one and I've never finished a Cinnabon either - too rich! Submitted a request for a change to the size of the pudding box as I believe the weight listed might be for sugar-free pudding as the standard regular box of pudding is 3.4 ozs, which is what I used when I made the recipe.

Great recipe. The dough had a lovely velvety consistency which was very nice to work with. I simply could not bring myself to ice these. Instead while the rolls were still warm I simply flipped the entire pan upside down onto a serving platter. The gooey goodness in the bottom of the pan served as the topping.

Everyone here raved about these this morning. Wonderful cinnamon rolls. I did put a dab of icing on top. That took them over the top sweet, so next time I will try them without. The dough was scrumptious!! The only problem I had was the brown sugar stayed grainy I guess I did'nt heat or mix it right with the butter and cinnamon.

I've been wanting to make these rolls for a long time now. The dough is wonderful to work with. My recipe yielded 12 very large rolls. Very flavorful. I recommend this recipe.

This is wonderful recipe...I did it by hand not the bread machine...the dough is a pleasure to work with & the end resulting rolls a Heavenly.....light, flavorful & just the right amount of filling...I did not use any icing as they are perfect without.

I have made this recipe several times for my family and they LOVE it. My husband doesn't eat a lot of sweets but even he can't get enough of these rolls. I ice mine with some butter frosting (1 stick butter, 2 t. vanilla, 1 lb. powdered sugar and a little milk to make it smooth) Turns out great every time!
