These cookies are great!! I only cooked about a dozen when I first made the dough. I made two "logs" in saran wrap, wrapped in foil and froze the rest of the dough. Tonight I baked some of the dough that had been frozen and they were just as wonderful as the first time around. Thanks for posting the recipe!!

Sometime a recipe just screams "make me"....this did that to me and WOW am I glad it did!!! This is by far one of the best chocolate cookie recipes I have ever made and I bake alot!!! I used 8 oz of vanilla flavored chips and a cup of semi sweet chips and a cooky scoop to dip them with. I got way more than 54, more like 70 wonderfully sized cookies. This first pan went for 8 minutes and were slightly too soft so 8.5 minutes were perfect! Cooled on the cookie sheets for a minute them moved to the counter. They were soft with a crispy slight edge and so brownie like flavor. This is one cookie that I will make constantly and with many variations. BTW I used parchement paper and margarine. Thanks for a keeper of a cookie!!!

This was an excellent recipe. All day at school it smelled like Pacific Cookie Company cookies, so I was dying to make cookies when I got home. I love making big, chewy, bakery style cookies, so I made the cookies really big and added mint chips to the batter. I also melted about 3/4 cup chocolate chips and stirred that in to make it more chocolately. I very much stress the "do not overbake" because while they may not look done, they will firm up once out of the oven. This is a keeper!

Oh my! These are outstanding cookies! I use the butter not margarine, just a couple dashes of salt, and mix in goodies too. The first time I used three chopped up Nestle Crunch bars - delish! Last time I used chopped walnut meats - very tasty! I just don't think you can mess this one up, it's that good! Definate keeper. DH asked me to make them again last night at 10pm. Funny thing is, they are so easy I did! They really take no time at all and the end result is very much worth the small effort. ~Lana~

This cookie has a really nice flavor! I found that they turned out too flat (and kind of crispy around the edges) for my taste, so I added another 1/2 cup of flour and some coffee extract to make them mocha cookies... yummy! Thanks for posting!

Excellent! I was craving chocolate last night, and these cookies were just what I needed. My bag of peanut butter chips was only 10 ounces (1 2/3 cups), but that worked out fine. I made the recipe as directed, but the first batch came out very flat — not a problem with the recipe, but I needed to add an additional 1/2 cup flour to compensate for high altitude (I live at 6500 feet). Once I made that adjustment, the second batch came out perfect. Thanks!

These are the best ever 'PMS-gotta have chocolate-or sombody is going to die!' cookies!!! These are soooo moist and yummy, almost cakey in a way, but not overly so. I made them 3 days ago and the cookies are still moist, not dryed out or getting those hardened crusty edges. These belong in the cookie hall of fame!!!

Excellent recipe for very tasty chocolate cookies. I used half white chocolate chips, half semi sweet. Everyone that tried them really enjoyed them. They are addictive, hard to eat just one..or two..
. thanks for sharing your recipe.
