Great recipe. I am eating a lean diet, so I made a few moderations. The rice was accompanying beef, so I substituted beef broth for the chicken stock. I added 1/4 cup chopped white onion and green pepper, sauted in 1 tsp. butter. Omitted the onion flakes. It had a wonderful flavor, my 5 and 6 year old kiddos ate it up.

    My husband & I are trying to lose weight & watch what we eat. This was a great recipe for brown rice. It was soooo easy to make although a little salty so I would probably recommend & low sodium chicken broth but besides that it was perfect!

    this was pretty good...for brown rice. My husband likes to eat brown rice and I don't really like it. But when I made it this way, my hubby said he loved it....and I could stand it enough to eat it, too. So I guess it's a winner. Thanks.

    An easy and delicious way to dress up brown instant rice. Smelled wonderful while cooking and tasted great, too. Thanx for posting this. I'll make this whenever I need a tasty rice side dish quickly!

    We really enjoyed this recipe! I didn't have green onion so I just diced some yellow onion and left out the onion flakes. Also used white rice and cooked a little longer. We really enjoyed this! Will definitely make again!

    This was a different way to make brown rice. It was filled with flavor from the chicken stock(I used fat-free lower sodium), onion & green onions. This is definitely a keeper in this house. Will be stored in my favorites. Thanks for sharing. Awesome...
