I was disappointed as the cookies turned out crispy instead of soft and chewy. I followed the recipe exactly. ?? Also taste too "crisco-y" for our liking.

These are pretty good. They're not my favorite cookie, but I can assure you that they'll all get eaten! Though these aren't as soft and chewy as I'd hoped, they're better than things like slice 'n bake cookies! I doubled the recipe and tossed in a cup of chocolate chips, just for a little something extra, and though I used a heaping tablespoon to measure out each cookie, I still wound up with 116 large cookies - the dough spreads a good deal!

FINALLY! An M&M cookie that actually LOOKS like an M&M cookie. OK, so I didn't read all the directions and dumped all the M&Ms in the dough but they are lovely anyway.

Very colorful and really tasty...but crisp, not soft or chewy! The Grandkids and friends ate 'em anyway.I chilled the dough before baking.

These turn out soft and chewy and the dough is very easy to work with. The first batch I made at Cristmas didn't even make to the cookie tray!- these are my kids (21,20 & 17)
FAVORITE cookies.

They are pretty good. Kids liked them. I used butter flavored shortening. The amount of M&M's in the recipe has to be off. I bet this would be good with just stirring some Mini M&M's into the batter. You could also use Hershey Kissables instead of the plain M&M's.

This is the BEST M&M Cookies recipe yet!!! these can't even compare to the recipe on the M&M Site! I love M&M's and when i found this site, i had to try it, and I Love It!!! Great Recipe....Its also a easy recipe. theres nothing to it, the steps are short and to the point, just what I needed, and the name is "Soft and Chewy M&M cookies" and thats what they are, Soft and Chewy! my family even loves them, you dont have to be a huge M&M fan to love these cookies!----again a GREAT, easy, tastey treat these are for you, or this recipe is!

Made these for a friend who just had a baby - they were fabulous! I substituted butter for Crisco, as we try to stay away from the solid shortening, but that is the only substitution I made. I do wonder about the trans fat listing under Nutrition Info, though, if using Crisco. I doubt the trans fat would be "0". Thanks for a good cookie recipe!

These cookies were very good! The only problem I had was with the cooking temperature. My first sheet came out burnt around the edges and raw in the middle. I lowered the temp to 350 and the rest came out just fine. I also used 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup shortening. I like the butter taste better then just using shortening. Thanks for the recipe!
