This was a fun dinner, and great for the kids. The flavor was pretty good, though I think the pepper taste was almost a bit overpowering - I'll definitely cut down on that next time - and though we love cheese, you could easily make do with less cheese for the topping. Because of a past reviewer's comments that this was greasy, I made sure to drain and pat dry my ground beef really well and chose 2% milk cheese instead of the full-fat stuff, and that seemed to help, because we didn't notice a problem with grease. Good recipe!

This was easy to make. I chose this a a kid-pleasing recipe and it wasn't a wrong choice. I did make a few changes. I halved the recipe and used only cheddar cheese soup. I don't like cr of mushroom soup. I still spread the meat mixture into a 13 x 9 pan, since I wanted the extra fries for my guys. I still baked for 30 minutes and it came out fine. I used Ore-Ida Extra Crispy fries. I topped my serving with green onions, bacon crumbles, and ranch dressing. It was similar to loaded cheese fries. Thanks for posting, debbb. Sue

Really good!! I didn't have chedder cheese soup so I subbed Ragu chedder cheese sauce. I worked great. I also layered thick slices of tomatoe on the bottom of the dish before pouring in the meat mixture. The family loved it. Thanks

This was a great "throw together" meal. We are moving tommorrow, and this was the perfect recipe to get rid of things from the freezer and the pantry. We really enjoyed it. We used frozen cajun-style fries, and I also had some frozen bacon that needed to be used up, so I cooked it, crumbled it, and tossed it in and viola...bacon cheeseburger casserole. Thanks for the recipe!

This was really good! I halved the recipe. I didn't have any cream of mushroom soup so I just used more cheese soup. I'll be making this again!

This has been in my cookbook forever and I wish now that I had made it sooner. I used Ore-Ida Zesties seasoned fries and they worked out great! Nice and crispy and the berger filling was delish. I will make this again. Thanks!

My family enjoyed this recipe. I used tater tots instead of the fries only because I thought the fries seemed odd, but the tater tots crumbled up nicely after it was baked and served. Thanks for this idea.

What a great easy dinner! My kids just gobbled it up. My grocery store didn't have the cheddar cheese soup so I substituted cheese sauce with a bit of water and it came out great!

Wonderfully tasty dish. My husband is not a "casserole" man, but he really enjoyed this. I made it with regular cut fries which I won't do again as they don't get crispy. I'll use shoestring fries (like the photo), and cut the recipe in half since it's only 3 of us. Thanks-
