Excellent. These went together so quickly and easily. I did find that I had way too much chocolate so I used the leftover for espresso beans and chocolate covered nuts. Next time I'll reduce the chocolate by half. I also added a touch of oil to the chocolate instead of parafin wax (just a personal preference). I melted my chocolate in the microwave and then set it over a bowl of hot water and it worked up very easily. I also used melted white chocolate chips and made eyes using a tooth pick. I then used another toothpick to dot some of the leftover darker chocolate for pupils.

These are the cutest Christmas candies I've ever made, and they're such conversation starters! Not only that, they're tasty! I had to use silver dragees for the eyes, as the icing I used would not harden so these could be packed in boxes. I just pushed the silver balls into the chocolate, it worked just fine. Thanks for a great recipe!

I made these with my (almost) 3-year old grandson over the holidays. He had a ball!! I skipped the chocolate/paraffin step and used a container of microwavable chocolate dip for fruits. You need to let the chocolate set up a little before adding the Hershey kiss, but otherwise, it was fabulous!

These mice were a big hit at our church's Christmas banquet tonight. I came in with the little guys in the package and with a flair I dramatically removed the lid and announced that we had a "little vermin problem" back at the house. Everyone enthusiastically helped me get rid of my "infestation." And your pictures really helped my husband and I to get the little critters just right. Thanks RitaL!

These mice are very cute I had gotten the recipe from a co worker. When I make them I also buy a small thing of black icing gel to put as the pupils on the white eyes. You can make the eyes any color.

These are so cute... and yummy!!!My sister made these on Xmas eve for a party and they were ahuge hit! She set up the mice around cheese wedges on an appetizer tray and added a holiday cup reading "mouse tails" for the guests to discard the cherry stems in. Thanks for sharing such a cute treat!

These mice were a big hit at our annual halloween pumpkin carving party. I didn't use the wax, just a bit of oil and it worked out fine. Very cute!
