Having had a nasty cold for a few days I wanted some basic chicken noodle soup and this recipe was perfect. I halved the recipe and used thigh meat and homemade noodles (from Homemade Noodles). Nice and thick and just what I needed to feel better. Thanks Miss Kitty!

This was nice, and easy - both of which are good, but it also had a nice flavor to it which makes it even better. Great for a good meal - those canned soups definitely can't hold a candle to this one! Thanks for posting.

Super easy for a tired weeknight dinner. I used chicken stock instead of the water and soup base. The onion and garlic really make a flavor difference in this soup.

This was a very hearty soup. Even my picky eatter liked it. The only thing I added was celery seed to the broth.
