Very good "ranch" flavor. I had tried another mix but didn't like the starchy flavor due to the crackers in it. This one is great. I did use about 1 1/2 tablespoons when making dressing to get more flavor.

I don't like dill so I leave it out. I also use a little less salt as I found my first batch a little too salty.

This is a great mix! I did not blend it and it was still good. I also left out the salt because I did not feel it was necessary. Thanks for posting this, I will use it alot!

Loved this! I used regular nonfat dry milk instead of dry buttermilk. We didn't have any onion flakes so we just upped the onion powder a bit. The packaged stuff still has MSG in it; just checked today. Thanks for the great recipe!

This is excellent! My DH is also allergic to MSG, and now he can have as much Ranch Dressing as he wants! The only change we made was to up the onion powder to 1 1/2 t. and used less of the dill weed - used 1/2 t. As others have mentioned, we also used 1 1/2T when we made dip with sour cream.

I've tried a few different ranch mix recipes and this is by far the best. Almost all the others omitted the dry buttermilk/powdered milk and that makes all the difference in the world. Using dry buttermilk makes this recipe spot-on and perfectly flavored!

This is a great substitute for store bought ranch dressing mixes. I also use a bit more when making dressing for more flavor.

First - this is a great recipe! If you're not a huge 'dill' fan, cut the amount to slightly less-than half and you're set. No salt needed for me - this was great and no MSG!!

This was fantastic! We were craving ranch dip, but all I had was the chips and sour cream. So I whipped this up, minus the powdered buttermilk since I didn't have any. I reduced the salt, dill and increased onion as suggested and just put the whole batch in the sour cream. It made a great dip. I can't wait to try it with the buttermilk!! Thanks for a great recipe.
