I love this. I've been making it for years. A few Easter's ago, I couldn't find any regular Cream of Mushroom Soup. All the store had was Cream of Mushroom with Roasted Garlic. It was a pleasant mishap. I've been making it that way ever since.

I truly love this recipe. I make it about every week and take it to work for lunch. i also love to add a little soy sauce to it as well.

I used french style green beans, and reserved 1/4 cup liquid to add to the 1/4 cup milk. I also drained a can of mushrooms to add, and put 1 teaspoon of worchestershire. This is a family favorite that I will continue to make over and over again!

This is a classic - however, we don't particulary care for canned green beans, so I usually make this with the frozen variety instead. The beans are "al-dente" when cooked for the recommended time, so if you like your veggies a little more "mushy" you will want to bake it a bit longer. For us, the 30 mins is perfect!

First time I have ever made this, but we wanted the classic, classic version and this was great. We increased the milk to 3/4 cup and it was yummm.

I gave this 5 stars. This is so yummy! I got my copy from a magazine and the directions are the same but the amounts are slightly different. The milk is 1/2 cup, the fried onions is 1 2.8oz can, the pepper is a dash and it calls for 1 Tsp soy sauce. I've changed the way I make this a bit. I use Worchestershire Sauce in place of the Soy Sauce and I double it. I also mix about 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup fried onions in the greens beans then top with more green beans. I to use about 1/8 to 1/4 Tsp black pepper. Thanks for posting such a yummy recipe. Christine (internetnut)

This is a classic dish. I have had it numerous times and made it tonite with meatloaf. Very good, even better with a bit of oregano and garlic powder added to it. (I did make it as is this time though). Thanks for a yummy recipe!
