This was far the best dish I have had in the crockpot. It was so easy to make and just delicious. My DH said it was 5 stars, a real keeper. He really liked the gravy thought it was just perfect. Thanks so much this will surely be in our meal plans from now on.

Wonderful, buttercup! This recipe is a cinch to pop into the crockpot and is ready in only a couple hours! I used 4 -1" boneless pork loin chops and served this with Bergy's Penne with Broccoli and Garlic Penne with Broccoli & garlic. We all enjoyed our meal so much! Thank you, buttercup!!

Wow! This was a great recipe! The pork was tender and flavorful. The gravy was excellent! I have made this twice...once with Chicken Broth and once with Beef Broth! Both are excellent!! Served it with mashed potatoes, green beans, and cheese biscuits! My DH said to keep this recipe handy! He expects it more often! Thank you for a great main dish!

I made this with 6 forequarter chops, and they were quite big. I followed the recipe exactly, except I used water and chicken stock powder, instead of broth. It turned out mush more tasty then I expected, (thought I would add some plum sauce, but it doesnt need it) I also found I needed to cook it an extra hour, maybe because the chops were big. I would make this again, but if I used the bought stock powder, I would cut out the salt, I would also pour the gravy mix over the top of the chops, as it did stick to the bottom of the pot a little. Thanks for sharing Buttercup

I followed the directions for this recipe exactly, and my husband and I agreed that we would both give this recipe a 3. It is not a bad recipe and I did like the homemade taste of the gravy, but thought that overall the dish was somewhat bland. But, we all know that personal taste varies and I would still recommend this recipe to others so that they could develop their own opinion. It is quite possible that I had too high expectations-kinda like when people talk up a movie before you've seen it and then you're somewhat disppointed when you finally see it....

Great stuff! After 2 hours baking in the oven in a covered cast iron skillet, these were tender and tasty, and went well with the pasta and broccoli I served on the side. Seeing that other reviewers thought this a tad bland, I added 1 T prepared mustard and about 1/2 tsp dried rosemary to the cooking liquid. I had just under a pound of pork, and found that 1/4 c flour was sufficient. After the chops were done, I added a cup of water to the pan drippings to create a gravy that I then thickened with a bit of cornstarch. Delicous meal-- thanks for posting!

I am going to add to your reviews.... These were so tender and had an incredible flavor! I could not find condensed Chicken broth... so I used regular chicken broth and a bit of condensed cream of chicken. They were FABULOUS! I served them with Apple Sauce (#70097), Macaroni and Cheese (#52799), Buttery Yeast Rolls (#40983)and broccoli. Everyone loved them! My friend that I invited over could not believe that I slaved away all day - she would not believe me that I just popped them in the slow cooker! Thank you!

I have made this several times for years when I saw it in a cook book. I had to change mine around a little bit to get the fullest flavor I could and I use the "cheap" bone in assorted chops (family-gotta economize!) I double my ingredients too! but yes this is one of my favorite recipes!

We loved this, I cooked it on low for 6 hours and it was wonderful and I normally don't do crockpot cooking, but something about this sounded delicious and it was. Served with Mysterygirls Mile Hig Biscuits that I HIGHLY recommend, mashed potatoes, and steamed broccoli... an excellent meal. Thank you!
