23 Reviews of Sesame Broccoli

by Sue L

This was definitely different, but I found the nutty flavour a bit overwhelming and the sauce a little runny. I poured it over the broccoli, but then drained most of it off because the broccoli was just swimming in it. This would be good with an Asian meal, maybe along egg fried rice and a main meat course.

This was a nice side for our Asian dinner. Very easy to make and the flavor was not overpowering. There was a bit of extra sauce but not too much. I used 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds and it was fine.

I was looking for a broccoli recipe for dinner tonight, and I came across this one. I served it with cubed steak and roasted potatoes. I thought it was pretty good and added a little butter. Thanks!

DH loved this broccoli and so did I, it had a nice nutty flavour that complimented the broccoli. I just made half a recipe, just two of us, there didn't seem to be too much dressing, maybe because I only made half a recipe, we will make this again, thanks for sharing.

I liked this a lot. I wasn't quite sure about orange juice with broccoli, but the flavors all melded together really well. Will most likely make again.

Nice dish with mild, interesting flavors. A real no hassle recipe. I doubled the sauce, didn't find there was too much of it, but still it was rather bland.

I love broccoli and this recipe is very good. The flavor of the sauce and the sesame seeds work well together with the broccoli.

Wonderful! Made as directed but when I had boiled the broccoli I put it in a hot pan with the sauce to allow it to reduce a bit, I found this intensified the flavours and solved the problem of it being too "saucy". Even the carnivore other half liked this! top marks!

LOVED it!! I did follow another reviewers suggestion...and added a little more sesame oil. It went wonderfully with our fish tonight! Thank you!

I served this on the side together with a spicy curry dinner - it complements our meal nicely. I cooked the sauce on the stovetop, and reduced it a little, and tossed it with the steamed broccoli. I added 1 TB of minced garlic too. Thanks for the easy veg dish, SueL
