Lizzie-Babette, your bearnaise butter was wonderful! I made T-bone steaks and sliced the butter over them. We loved the tarragon and shallot taste. Very easy to make and very flavorful! I will definitely make this again!

I made this tonite substituting finely minced onion and garlic for the shallots. We grilled some Angus rib-eyes and used a small amount of the Bearnaise butter to baste them while grilling then added the other after they were done. The rib-eyes were TDF with this sauce on them and it was even good on our baked potatoes too. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Great easy & very flavourful sauce. Instead of wrapping the butter in wax paper I served mine in a small pretty dish so that we could put as much or as litle, or even keep adding the sauce to the steak. Thanks for this keeper. JenT

This bearnaise butter was fantastic! I was hoping to find a recipe for bearnaise "sauce" with no egg, and sure enough here it is! Thank you Beth for sharing something so delicious and easy.

Not only is the butter tasty, it is fun to make! It's definitely one of those meals you enjoy serving to company. I didn't make any adjustments, and the preparation was very easy. The taste was a bit more mild than I anticipated but still very nice. I used a faux-filet.

A delicious topping for our steaks. I added just a little bit more lemon juice cause I like a lemony steak. The butter and steak juices left on the plate screamed to be mopped up with a piece of bread. (I obliged)

My husband and I LOVE steaks with flavored butter and I knew I had to do this recipe when I saw it in the new reviews. Absolutely delicious...My husband doesn't like tarragon so I used fresh thyme from my garden and it worked very well. We had the steaks with small lobster tails, salad and bread...quite decadent for a Wednesday (school) night!! This is 5*'s all the way, thanks so much Lizzie for a terrific, easy recipe. This one goes in the 'Up North' collection

I loved the taste of the butter! I made this for my husband, as I don't eat meat. He decided he didn't want any spices, just salt and pepper on his steak,so...... I put the butter on my mashed potatoes and a good dollop on the top of my squash soup and they were both better because of your butter! I thought it was terrific. Thanks for the recipe!

This was wonderful! I did season my steaks with steak seasoning before "grilling" on my George Forman grill, and let a little of the butter melt on the grill before adding the steaks. The butter is just too tasty for words! I think my husband has found a new favorite!
